This restaurant has had a serious problem with service. Cold coffee. Forgetting items. Etc. etc. This was a delightful experience today. The coffee was very hot and delivered right away. The food was delivered correctly. And, as usual, the food and coffee is super delicious. Iâm so happy theyâve gotten their act together.

Great everything. Very local, small bakery and place to dine. Don't miss this very special place. I am a foodie, a cook and difficult to please. I was visiting from Monterey and discovered this very special 'hole in the wall'. My sandwich was over the top wonderful. The chef is overly talented for this small restaurant. I hope he doesn't burn our before he becomes famous and wealthy. Please visit and enjoy. (I am not a relative.)

I went recently for the first time. My friend had heard about their long lines so we went early to avoid them. They have their own parking lots and there is parking on the street. There most definitely wasn't a line at this early hour on a Sunday. I ordered a breakfast bowl with greens and a poached egg. The poached egg was inedible, having been boiled with vinegar, far too much. I complained and nothing was offered to please this customer. The white beans at the bottom of the bowl were cooked the right amount but practically smothered in chopped, sautéed fennel. I like fennel but not that much. I tried to focus on the kale (which was raw). To finish the dish, they include a piece of crusty bread that was coated in cooking oil. The whole thing was disappointing. I had great coffee, though. The almond croissant had an armor of sugar/almond coating that have me a sugar rush for a few hours. I'll give it one more for fairness and to see what all these great reviews are about. I agree that it's a hip place for Pasadena which tends to be more old school.

Exquisitely enchanting experience within an historic setting along tree-lined streets, this European-inspired restaurant offers welcoming service and delicious dining within elegant, but not stuffy, surroundings. Floral arrangements and music delight, with seating on the garden front patio or within the intimate, elegant, wood-paneled library room adorned with frescoed ceiling. Enjoy a white peach Mimosa or Sangria with your signature Rosemary & Currant Bread house specialty. Finish with a decadent dessert. As you will not want to return to reality by departing, wander into the attached Gourmet Market & Gift Shop to complete this truly enjoyable experience. I am anxious to revisit this lovely family-owned venue.
