Things to do in Airdrie
Under New Management we are now open 7 days a week from 7am to 4pm for the best for breakfast, home made meals to sit in or take-away. Phone orders welcome.
Popped in on a whim on a Sunday afternoon for a breakfast, warm friendly atmosphere and great banter from the owner Kirsty. Food was well cooked and delicious, and the price very reasonable. Iâll definitely be back on a regular basis, well done Kirsty.
Early for a morning meeting I decided to kill time in the nearest cafe. I found Coffee Connection. It is a hub for locals and workers in the area. The furnishings are basic and like the rest of the cafe spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and efficient but best of all is the food. I had a bacon and black pudding roll and a coffee. The bacon and black pudding were of good quality and cooked to perfection and my latte was as good as any offering from a large coffee chain. Coffee Connection is a real gem and if you are ever in Glenmavis and feeling peckish, donât miss it!
At Cafe Alba we offer a varied menu of quality fresh food that is excellent value for money, served by our friendly welcoming team. To ensure the high standards of dishes of which we are proud, we use as many Scottish products as possible; fish from Scott
We went in for a coffee and cake, the cafe was table service, did not have to wait long for our order, claim home baking btw the scone was great. The whole place looked new so everything was clean. Nice cafe give it a try.
Visited two days ago for the first time. It used to be called cafe 37 but has recently changed to BLT (Breakfast, Lunch and Tea)My husband and I both had the Express Lunch, however the main menu is also available. We both had the soup which was lovely and come with a roll. Then we had the Mac n Cheese with chip and salad and was really tasty. The portion sizes for the Express Lunch was surprisingly large. In saying that with the choice of deserts we both also had a desert. The cheesecake is amazing. The restaurant/cafe itself is nicely decorated and has a good layout. Staff are friendly. I did notice that many table were reserved and as the place is not massive I would be tempted to book if going back.I would highly recommend this place and would go back again. Well worth the money.
I use this cafe if I am working in the area and only discovered it by accident. Staff are great, very helpful and friendly. Keen prices and good food. A very clean cafe with lots of space. Lifts available if stairs are too much with good access.

Nice cosy place good atmosphere and friendly staff, coffee lovely and my son had sausage and chips with no complaints, only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I found the cakes a bit too expensive so I wouldn't buy them again as they weren't even that nice

While visiting my Mum in Airdrie I discovered Cafe Alba. It was great to see somewhere decent to eat in the town centre. Thought the menu was very good and nice staff.

Friendly staff and quick and efficient service. Modern cosy surroundings and a busy wee place with what seems like a lot of regular customers. 2 sit in breakfasts for a tenner is good value. Ingredients are okay for the price you pay too. It's a shame it's not bigger as I think this place could do really well as a sit in cafe, just very few tables
