Morwenna's is a family restaurant serving all day breakfasts, light meals, snacks , cakes and ice-cream desserts in a relaxed atmosphere. All our food is cooked to order and as far as possible sourced locally. We also make traditional Cornish pasties on th
Purely stumbled across this little gem, very unassuming, though bursting with great food and drinks. With some very attentive service to boot.Best cup of coffee Iâve had in ages, blooming marvellous! Also I had a homemade pasty made on the premises, it was simply superb. Beautiful beef steak, balanced by the onion, and the secret is in the seasoning which was to perfectionKeep it up Morwenna Cafe Bar, love what youâre doing, and you so deserve every accolade for caring in what you do and the food and service you provide

All of our food is cooked in our kitchens using only fresh ingredients sourced from the best local suppliers. The freshness of the food is matched by the stunning interior of the restaurant with its fully glazed facade offering sweeping views down to the
I visit here on average twice a week, sometimes to eat with my wife or a friend and sometimes just for coffee whilst Iâm fishing the lake. The service is excellent, staff very friendly and food always good. Whether itâs for breakfast, lunch or just a coffee with some cake I certainly recommend it. His lordship gives you 5 stars

My wife and I have spent a week in Cornwall. This is a beautiful County with lovely, helpful locals. So we decided to round off our week with a nice evening meal at the Wideford Manor hotel restaurant. Without doubt this was probably the worst dining experience we have ever had. The restaurant is nothing more than an aircraft hanger sized cattle market. The noise was deafening, people were pushing and shoving their way to the food. Incredulously we were expected to walk the entire length of the hotel from our table to the carvery. The food was lukewarm and so 15 minutes after walking in we had eaten and walked out. Avoid this place like the plague.

The Break Beach Bar is situated at The Beach house. Seasonal opening hours. Booking strongly advised. For more information on upcoming events check out our website and Facebook page.
Pros - all the staff are fantastic, helpful and patient and smiley.Food is piping hot and is fresh, seafood fresh and local - moules intense flavour not wishy-washy at all.Cons- The fish curry was too tomatoey and the cheesy chips were not the best. The restaurant could be cosier setting especially with our British summers The food is made with love and there is a good vibe, so would return!

The Deck Crew wanted to create a food experience based on our two favourite things, food and travel, in order to create the type of restaurant that we would want to visit again and again. The Deck Bar and Grill, Restaurant offers an exciting concept infus

The Bay View Inn is an award-winning hotel, bar and restaurant overlooking the Blue Flag beach of Widemouth Bay in North Cornwall. We serve classic seaside favourites with a uniquely Cornish twist. Signature dishes including our Homemade Fish Pie, Cornish
A fabulous setting opposite beach and great to watch the sunset. So many gluten free items on the menu and went back a second time whilst in the area. The fish pie was the first I had eaten out in 15 years as it contained no gluten. It was packed full of fish, piping hot and delicious

Elements cafe bar & restaurant is open from 10am 7 days a week, all year, located on the cliff between Bude and Widemouth bay. Contemporary interior, beautiful bar, decking and lawns all overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. A relaxed atmosphere and good value
We decided on Elements for our end of holiday treat dinner and what a great decision.Lovely welcome and a coffee while we waited for our table.Only gripe was unruly children running about and parents not controlling them, very rude but they soon went thank goodness!Maybe staff could ask them to control them or stop children under 10 eating at night, sorry to moan but it started to spoil a nice evening, we would never allow our children to behave like that. Several other tables exchanged the same disproving looks.Anyway moan over, the food, simply wonderful. We had garlic bread to start, nice and soft. For mains we had pizza, and pasta dishes all cooked to perfection and the presentation and taste were just so good.Ice cream to finish which again the flavours were something else.A really good Italian with friendly attentive staff, outside heated seating area we didn't use otherwise I would have been asleep!Deserving of a high rating, nice modern Italian twist.

We love the Widemouth Bay Cafe, especially for breakfast. The âBreakfast Stackâ is one of the most yummy things you can have for breakfast!!!! They have seating both inside and out, fast, friendly, fun staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Food quality was high and portion sizes generous. Along with reasonable prices, whatâs not to love.

Tea room and surf hire. We serve home made cakes and cream teas as well as light lunches. We are 50 metres from the beach at Widemouth Bay
Gorgeous hidden gem of a tea room, advertised as surf hire so think a lot of people miss it? We had the whole place to ourselves on a sunny Tuesday lunch time! Sat outside in their sweet garden, had cream tea & a cheeky slice of one of their homemade cakes. Couldnât fault, great service, reasonably priced, lovely experience for our family of 4

Cocktail Bar and Cornish Bistro. The bar was inspired by the murky glamour of the speakeasy era. Always happy to be different, preferring to think for our selves rather than follow the pack. Approachable, welcoming, lacking in pretention; we work for top
Dropped into Bude just a little before 8pm on a Saturday evening, looking for a decent meal of good quality. The Deck, The Olive Tree and popular others were full: some, even not taking orders after 8pm!!!Almost next door to The Deck is the oddly named Sazerac, and "Wow!" what a really good, well-presented meal we had. Their restaurant does not cram-in its tables or "milk" diners & holiday makers, but offers a limited menu (always a promising sign!!) and I really chose well: Cornish Clams as a divine "Starter" followed by a beautifully presented Veal, repleat with veal liver, smoked bacon and a wonderful jus.It appears to be part of the Atlantic Hotel.Loved it. Determined to return, especially as it's an easy drive from mid-Devon.Obviously, a talented Chef, but also a very good, young, polite Maitre D' and a good waitress.Well done!
