First evening of a week holiday and we could not have chosen better. A real pub, good ales, a simple menu of tasty food and great value. Itâs a friendly place and easy to strike up a conversation with the locals. Thereâs live music and lots going on so well worth a visit.

We stopped here for lunch on our way back to our holiday accommodation after visiting port Issac. We had a very friendly welcome and were shown to our table swiftly. Food was nice and the service was good. Nice, clean and comfortable. A visit is recommended by us for sure.

A 14th century inn offering bed & breakfast accommodation, an old country pub atmosphere, local ales and an exceptional restaurant. The Olde Malthouse Inn changed hands in June 2018 and has undergone extensive refurbishment throughout.
Came here with my mother and brother for a weekend for mums birthday. We were expecting pub food but had a wonderful surprise. The food is excellent...I had pork belly ... fab! My brother sea bass which he said was excellent and mum chicken pasta. Presentation was excellent. Puddings were also good .. cheeseboard was huge!! All the staff were lovely and v friendly ... atmosphere was also good. We will be back on our next Cornwall visit

Set in seven acres of wooded valley and garden on the north coast of Cornwall, The Mill House Inn is well known for its warm welcome and top quality food. The charming stone building was originally a corn mill, so the dining room boasts a high-beamed ceil
Read some good reviews so was a little disappointed when we ate here.Starters where OK soup and mussels could have done with a little extra in the sauce just seemed to be cream with no flavour. Mains I had the steak which most definelty didn't come as discribed, the actual steak was a nice peice but not cooked as requested came more rare than I would have liked. My husbands haddock and chips didn't look that inviting the batter was thick and tasted of soapy water when we told the staff they did nothing about it.An acceptable meal, nothing stunning, this could be a fantastic place but think the kitchen needs to up its game a bit.

Day trip to Tintagel, wanted a coffee stop. Sadly the Flat Whites here arenât Flat Whites. They are coffee with milk/cafe con leche.Iced coffee was generous having 3 scoops of ice cream but my wife felt the coffee was bitter.Service was brilliant, friendly and helpful, sadly the coffee didnât match the service.

Vega offers 100% delicious, homemade vegan food. Tapas menu for tasters and core menu for main meals. Fully licensed and dog-friendly. Open Thursday to Sunday 12 - 3 and 6 - 9 pm. 50% profits donated to animal welfare charities.
We went to Vega for an evening meal and we all enjoyed what we ordered. The food is tasty, wholesome and fresh and the portion sizes are very generous. It was so nice to go out and have proper vegan food in a vegan restaurant instead of the vegan option normally offered. The owner is helpful and very welcoming. We had a lovely evening!Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you liked 'Vega'.

Wow. Absolutely amazing place. We ordered a cream tea and a savoury scone tea. Stunning. This is what I came to Cornwall for the weekend for. What a gorgeous place Tintagel is and this tea room is lovely. Great service too from a lovely welcoming lady. The toilets were the cleanest Iâve ever seen. Would highly recommend.

Not very big, so can get quite busy, but the food is lovely and the staff are delightful. The crab sandwich seemed pricey, but was absolutely delicious and worth every penny.

We live live locally and have tried every eatery in the area. How we had missed this one until today I don't know - because, what a find! The food is absolutely delicious, fresh and home made, and the staff are all absolutely charming. I had a really interesting salad with huge, juicy, crevettes and turmeric bread. I honestly can't remember the last time we had such a delicious lunch, in such a nice atmosphere, with such warm and friendly service but it won't be the last time, because we'll be regulars!
