A welcoming local pub with lots of regular customers who, with the landlord, treat tourists with cheer and friendliness. Large portions of hearty food which is tasty and interesting. My friend and I shared a starter of pate of which there was plenty. My local meaty sausages were excellent with gravy, veggies and ginormous Yorkshire pudding. I couldn't eat all the mashed potato. I had a simple lemon sponge (my choice of no custard, ice cream etc) which was lovely: light and plenty of it !Would love to go again. My next visit, no doubt.

Please note the restaurant is now closed.
It's very much a locals pub, which is absolutely fine. However, it's dark and depressing and more of a drinking and pool pub than an eatery, even though they do serve food. The brewery really need to invest in 're modernising and emphasising more on the meals. It's been like this for years and had so many different managers etc. It's ideally situated on the main A390 so with a little bit of capital being spent and a more friendlier eating area created not to mention,a better menu selection, this little pub would be more popular with passing trade.

Have been here quite a few time before, one of the best places around here for cooked breakfast & lunchâs. Freshly cooked food, great tasting, friendly staff. Good selection on the breakfast & lunch menu, good size portions. Well worth a visit.

Steakhouse and seafood restaurant located near the beautiful Charlestown harbour.
It's been just over a year since we had dinner at The Longstore on our wedding day so whilst we were passing through Charlestown we thought we'd pop back in. Same great attentive service, our French waitress was excellent. Crab and avocado salad was amazing and the hake was excellent. If you get a table by the window you do get a glimpse of the harbour and sea. Just wish the restaurant was a little closer to home!

Ramshackle Rosie is our little cafe started in September 2016, offering all day breakfasts while listening to some classic rock
What a fantastic breakfast. Just loved the service and the food. Great selection of different breakfasts all with Toast, Juice and Hot Drink included. I had Bubble and Squeak with Eggs, Bacon, and Mushroom. The other three had small, large and medium breakfasts - all great. The decor is fab .... almost as good as the food.Wish we lived closer!

After a wander round the village and quayside and museum, we were feeling peckish having driven past Charlieâs we decided to go back up the road and try it out. We each had panini min with mozzarella, bacon and sun blush tomatoes, my wife goats cheese and sun blush to,stones. Both were excellent. One double espresso and a cup of tea with the bill at £16. Well worth it. Great ambience and well served.Thank you for the lovely feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your visit to us at Charlie's and look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

A fabulous, reasonably priced, family-run restaurant in Carlyon Bay, Cornwall catering to every taste. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
Just returned to our hotel having taken an early dinner at Edieâs. We popped in to book this morning & was met with a welcome, cheery smile and chat. Returned this evening to a beautiful atmosphere. We were sat at Table 12, it has a view of the chef, Nigel and his extremely caring and efficient team. The feeling of calm was palpable and appeared to work like a well oiled machine. The waitresses were young, knowledgeable and very friendly without being familiar. The menu is not extensive, but beautifully put together to suit even the most discerning tastes. In addition to that, there are daily specials. We had the pigeon to start and choose the pan fried hake and the neck of lamb as mains. The quality of presentation is superb but overshadowed by the wonderful tastes on our plates! I didnât want the meal to end. Unusually, we had dessert, the blackberry soufflé with lemon sorbet and a treacle tart with clotted cream and salted caramel. The whole meal was exemplary. I can honestly say that it equalled a meal we had in the summer at a Michelin Star restaurant for a birthday celebration. We urge you to book and visit this wonderful little restaurant and enjoy possibly one of the best meals youâll have in a while. Fine dining without taking a mortgage out!

Busy, vibrant coffee shop with more. Very good coffee and delicious Chelsea bun with salted caramel - not too sweet, thanks to the lovely bun. Newly opened upstairs provides lots of reading areas and casual seating with a deliberately modern, bright, homely feel. Pity I wasn't in Cornwall longer. I would definitely return - frequently.
