Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will. Beefeater b
My wife and I were taken to the beefeater by our son and his family. It was a great night with a great ambiance. The food and drink were top notch..the staff were more than helpful and were very patient especially with our grandsons....I would like to thank the team leader Courtney Hammond who was on the ball and took a photo of our family night, my wife and I enjoyed it so much we went into the bar area for more drinks when the kids went home.I hope you could pass on our thanks to all the staff...Many thanks The Lappin family

Itâs a good place but something is missing, everything seems a little clinical, especially when you go through the doors to the toilet, it seems like you are in a school or hospital. Decent beer choices and friendly staff however. In general good but lacking in a little bit of character that would make it great

A traditional English pub, airing on the side of being a restaurant. Decor is very much oldie worldly in the main part, with a lovely light and airy conservatory. The bar area has some very comfortable sofas and leather seats, the ideal place to have a rel

Under new ownership after a massive revamp. Barry and Lynn look forward to welcoming both old and new customers.
Having booked a table two days before for Saturday 17th August it wasn't as if they wasn't expecting us. The table was booked for 7.45pm and the lady who showed us the table and took our order was miserable and could hardly be bothered to take our order, I'm assuming it was the landlady because the young lady's who came to our table were very attentive. The last time I came I ordered the same food," the sea bass" I got two last time but only got one this time . They had run out of the accompanying dish so I had to have chips. The restaurant didn't finish until 9pm so I can't understand how they could run out of things so early in the night. The food was ok but I didn't enjoy the evening at all, sorry ! I shall have to think twice about going again I'm afraid. I actually do love good food and go to lots of lovely restaurants so it's not as if this was a one off night out. Also being charged £3.20 for a non alcoholic drink was steep when establishments should be trying to encourage no drink driving.

We had an amazing meal here, honestly the the volume of the food and the quality were all impeccable. However not 5 star as the service was a bit haphazard, the locals make you feel a bit unwelcome including the landlady. If you have thick skin and loads of patience for the menu and food to arrive do not miss this place as the food worth it.

We serve afternoon teas and light snacks all cakes and scones are fresh baked by me everyday at the shop xx
I've visited this beautiful tea room since opening a few years ago. Most recently, my daughter organised a surprise birthday afternoon for twenty family and friends. Quality of food and service just as excellent as always. One guest came from Bolton in Lancaster and commented on the quality and reasonable price Cannot recommend enough.
