Since the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus, it has increased in size and status, due to the migration of many refugees fleeing from the north. Many of the people who work in the tourist industry of Protaras and Ayia Napa live in Paralimni, which is now the temporary administrative centre of the Famagusta District and the biggest municipality of the Greek Cypriot-controlled area of the district.

Had drinks there one night, so decided to go back another night for food...sorry we bothered! Husband had the Mexican burger, which he described as a "grease fest" and I had steak pie, which came with gravy..pie had been microwaved so was soggy and the gravy was pretty much a solid lump...wouldnt recommend (photo is the gravy)

We visited Garyâs most days and always enjoyed it. We experienced a lot of unhappy staff in Ayia Napa that werenât very friendly but all of the staff here were really nice and happy to speak to you. The two girls that were on during the day always stopped to talk to us and were lovely. Food was always very nice and for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend if you want somewhere nice to sit and have some good/drink just away from the loud bars and clubs. Thank you all at Garyâs!

5 of us went awalk into Penera one evening and seeing that they did bottled real ales fought we would stop and try it out.It was very quiet and the bottled ale a bit more expensive that the local beer,its a pleasant little bar with friendly staff we enjoyed our stay here

Visited on the 2nd night of our holiday & will be going there again before we leave. What a lovely friendly couple that own this place. We ate in and had fish & chips with curry sauce, followed by apple pie & cherry pie. Letâs just say we cleared our plates, delicious. Pay them a visit, youâll love it!!Thank you for the great review and recommendation, we very much appreciate it it.You will be pleased to know I baked a batch of cherry pies tonight, The apple pie will be made tomorrow. Mojitos is used by the ex-pat crowd for occasional Sunday breakfasts. We were invited to join them which made 14 of us which in itself must be some sort of recommendation. There is a range of dishes from traditional fry up to healthy eating. Can recommend the full English and the eggs bacon and black pudding on bubble and squeak. Large portions at very reasonable prices. Whatâs not to like. Go & enjoy. Would eat here again.
