Breakfast is very limited for the included items and the quality is just not there for the price paid. I have paid a quarter of the price and stayed in better rooms with a substantially bigger and better cooked food.our breakfast could of been cooked better by my children

Dropped in here last weekend and a pair of us opted for a breakfast. It was a bit chaotic and there was a wait for food (to be fair we were warned of this before ordering). Food was tasty and a generous portion was presented. Staff were polite and helpfull. Would stop here again and have no problem recommending the place.

Booked for bank holiday Monday night for my birthday meal with the family (6 in total), very homely feeling place with smiling and helpful bar staff. Drinks were very well priced, food was quite expensive I thought but once the mains came (we didnât have starters) they were huge portions so worth the money. Very tasty and well recommended. All in all a great meal and would certainly visit again

This is a great old traditional pub that takes you back to the days of old. There is not a lot of room to move around in the bar, but thankfully, there is an additional dining area for guests/ parties downstairs or in the garden. We choose to stay by the bar, and we were very surprised by how busy it was for midweek and the size of the village! The menu is well balanced and varied and the portions ensure you are well fed! The homemade pie was excellent, as was the fish & chips. The service was welcoming and friendly - glad there was no wifi! The town has two pubs and both have excellent Chefs! Venture out of the city and come visit!

On a sunny day there is nothing better than sitting outside Tu Hwnt I'r Bont with a Welsh tea (having carefully not eaten too much beforehand). The sound of the Conwy River a few yards away (look for the flood levels marked on the door frame - it's not always a benign river!) and the elegant bridge over it (reputedly designed by Inigo Jones can easily take you back to the 17th century when the bridge was built or the 15th century when TuHwnt I'r Bont was built as a courthouse. Setting and history apart, it's well worth coming here for the food alone, especially their bara brith.

From started to dessert, everything put in front of us was delicious. You could really sense that the chef/s loved their produce and treated it with care. My black pudding starter was delicious. My Welsh lamb off the bone main was exquisite. The trio of puddings (which I shared with my partner because I really 'didn't need' a pudding) were beautiful, especially the creme brulee. The menu isn't vast but that's a good thing. It was still difficult to decide what to order because everything sounded so good. All the staff were lovely, friendly service without being over the top.I hesitate to describe it as Modern Welsh cooking because the chicken skewers my partner had were more Mediterranean than Welsh. Thank you Arwel and Anna for a lovely, lovely meal (and the birthday chocolates). We'll definitely be back.Diolch yn fawr iawn, noson perffaith a bwyd penigamp .Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review of Chandlers Brasserie, it is so very much appreciated & we are delighted you enjoyed your birthday meal with us. Arwel has incorporated many Mediterranean dishes that have been influenced by his travelling & passion for food over the many years of his career. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the very near future & once again for taking the time write such a wonderful description of your whole dining experience.Kindest Regards, Diolch Yn Fawr Arwel, Anna & our dedicated Chandlers team

Oriel Ffin y Parc Gallery began in 2010, and has quickly grown to become one of the most successful art galleries in Wales. We currently represent over forty artists, ranging from exciting young newcomers to some of the most established and successful art
Ffin Y Parc had been recommended by a friend for lunch, so we went to have a look at the gallery and have some lunch.Lovely setting, with lovely views over the beautiful Conwy valley, the restaurant/ cafe had a prime position. The menu was nice and simple, but not the run of mill lunchtime menu offered by the masses.I chose the spinach and chorizo dish which was not only good value, but absolutely delicious.I will make it my business to return to this little gem, what a find!Oh, and the art gallery was good too!

We came here on a recommendation as you can park right outside. Quick service, reasonable prices and the best fish and chips we've had in quite a while. Lovely big chunks of cod, and chips done just right (not too crispy, not too soggy!). The long queue that formed as we left suggests that are popular, and for good reason.
