Excellent cafe. Best coffee, great choices of tea, good place for breakfast - only decent place open in the morning for brunch. Highly recommend the coffee & the cakes. Great breakfast menu, very good smashed avocado etc, well worth a visit and itâs pet friendly.

We decided to have a meal at the upstairs restaurant after reading some great reviews and we were not disappointed. There is not one negative comment I can give this establishment and their staff. The food was awesome and itâs faultless cooking by the chef was top class. This restaurant is definitely a place you must visit when in Aberfeldy. What is also brilliant about this restaurant is their staff. The level of customer service is amazing and they are a credit to the owners of this restaurant. The members of staff that looked after us were very friendly and very professional. They created a really nice and relaxing atmosphere for our meal. Please give the chef and your staff a massive thanks and a pat on the back from my wife and I. Thanks for a great meal. Made very welcome by the friendly staff. They sell the best cheese scones I have ever had and the home made Cullen Skink is, according to my wife, to die for. As my wife requires a gluten free diet, the service is so good, Mariusz, the owner and cook, phoned the baker to ascertain whether certain products were gluten free. Do visit when you are in Aberfeldy - you won't be disappointed

We booked up (essential) a table on a Friday night in the bar for excellent food before the weekly 8 - 11.30 ceilidh session by local musicians playing a wide range of instruments for music from traditional Scottish, through modern folk and blues, to sing along pop hits!Food was fantastic - so much so we went back a second evening to the bar for more of the ribeye steak.Worth a trip - booking essential. We never got as far as the dining room!

I have been to Highland Safari's many times and never once have I, or my family, been disappointed not only with the food, but the service and friendliness of the staff. I have purchased safari's as gifts and finally managed to secure one for myself which I can't wait to experience. Everything at Highland Safari's is geared around family where you can learn about the rescued red dear, the barn owl, panning for gold or playing in the children's play area. I would highly recommend a visit here if you are in the area and if your are not, make a detour! Fantastic. Many thanks for your lovely review - so glad that you enjoy visiting Highland Safaris and we look forward to seeing you when you come for your safari!

Arrived in Kenmore late and choose this restaurant based on its proximity to our hotel. There was much discussion about booking and we were able to get a 6:30 reservation. By the time we left at 8, there were maybe three or four tables filled. I don't understand the the booking request as it often seems to have nothing to do with the number of tables. Maybe it is more about the food on hand. That being said, the food was incredible. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection with crispy skin and moist , flaky meat. My friend had the venison which was melt in your mouth fabulous. The pate and oat cake starter was also a treat. What a happy find on our first night.

Booked a table for three at 19:00 on a Friday hoping to have a good experience as this was a recommendation from our holiday house.First impressions were good as a lovely view over the river is made available due to the large glass walls. However, the furniture iin the restaurant is very tired and the springs can be felt through the chair cushions; it was also a little cool but we are soft southerners!A waiter came over promptly but then informed us that thee were several items unavailable and, in his words, a poor choice of beers. This was all due to an order / delivery issue.Starter was ordered and arrived in good time. The mains then took another 50 minutes. The food that arrived was close to that described in the menu but it did appear that we got what was left in the kitchen. The food can be described as average pub bar food, not restaurant standard. We didn't bother with a dessert. There was some chat between staff indicating some lack of staff availability which may have created some of the problems but this is hardly our issue. We waited 20 minutes for a Diet Coke, only receiving it after another prompt. At the end of our meal we had to ask for the bill twice. This is all a shame, perhaps we were unlucky and the combination of staff shortage and lack of food and drink was an unfortunate anomaly but, I am sorry to say, we won't be returning. It would have been nice to have been advised about the food availability when I booked as this was only a couple of hours prior to our visit. An early and clear explanation of any problem always helps rather than trying to muddle through and disappointing customers who then write poor reviews!

This lovely little cafe on Loch Tay, Kenmore is cosy and clean. The staff are really friendly and the food fresh and tasty. I had scottish cheddar toastie, which was brimming with cheese. My husband had a bacon doorstop, which lived up to it's name! There is a lovely seating area outside too, with beautiful views up the loch. I believe this is a relatively new cafe, but so far they are doing a great job! I highly recommend this place.

Staying in kenmore over Christmas and was fascinated by location of the marina, so decided to take a wee walk with kids to see what it was all about. So glad we did. Lively cosy yet open resteraunt overlooking loch. It's picturesque and menu was fresh and delicious if not a wee bit pricey. I had salmon and capers and was delicious. Dressing was light and tasty and my 5 year old polished off her little fish supper in no time. Great location beautiful menu lively staff. Win.

Waterfront Restaurant serving Lunch menu Monday to Sunday 12- 2 pm Dinner service Monday to Sunday 6 - 8.30 Reservations recommended
We have stayed at the Kenmore Club for the last few years but only use the restaurant occasionally, because we always have our dog with us and unfortunately there is no opportunity to take our mutt even into the bar area. I have made suggestions previously to the club that, as they encourage dog owners to stay in the lodges they should make some arrangements to enable people with dogs to eat in a bar area. However this year we left our dog in the car and had an excellent evening meal. We will certainly be back again in the future and will eat in the restaurant.
