This coming year will see a huge steps forward in our environmental business's development. The guesthouse has not been available for groups since 2019 as we now live there! Hopefully with our toddler brewery as it learns to act like a proper brew house.
Excitedly booked as very limited choice of eateries on Tiree. Restaurant pretty full when we arrived. Menu was surprising as quite limited and mixed pizza with âmainstreamâ meals. Some specials and limited wine also on offer. As well as home brewed beers. The Thai soup was delicious actually, the scallops fine and the steak disappointingly medium rather than rare. Mains served with regular mixed veg and roasties.Profiteroles ..strange pastry, certainly not Choux. Overall it was mediocre. Expensive for what it was. What needed improvement was the waiting staff who just slop the food onto the table without a smile, and the overall smell of cooking that clinged to my hair and clothes. The food was good home cooking at best, nothing particularly outstanding. To improve, the source of the food would be good. Napkins too rather than paper. To be honest, the best food place on Tiree is the co op.....

If you are looking for anything from a light snack to a home cooked meal this is the place ! Breakfast, lunch and evening meals Local seafood -Lobster -Crab claws -langoustines Sunday carvery a selection of starters, roast and sweetes, best to book in adva
This is open for a cafe from Tuesday to Saturday at the Tiree Rural Centre near the airport. We had a good coffee and cake there one day and then went back on the Sunday when they do a carvery. This was the best carvery I have ever had. There was a choice of six different meats and you can have some of each! I chose the pork and lamb both of which were so beautifully tender and the portions were incredibly generous. There was also the offer to go back for more! I was also impressed that there were four different meat gravies to choose from. You need to book as very popular with locals as well as visitors.

We were staying in Balemartine so it made sense to try out the Farmhouse. The three young ladies providing the services were very personable, very professional and delivered high quality food. It was quite busy when we arrived but we got a good table and the place was very comfortable. The food was good and the service was excellent - an ideal lunch venue.

Good quality food, definitely not a greasy spoon! Also, they don't cater well for children, which is the only reason I've given it a 4. The smoked haddock rarebit was moreish and the meatball ciabatta was excellent. My only gripe was that I couldn't buy a grown-up slice of the rocky road, which I know was fab as I had a bit of my daughter's! Definitely want to go there again, but without a child with us next time!
We supply fresh local shellfish . Arran cheese , jams , oatcakes and chutneys. Stornoway black puddings . Fruit and white . Island bakery of Mull biscuits . We are the worlds first lobster and crab vending machine
We went to buy lobster for a birthday celebration. We decided to go for cooked rather than face the adventure of buying a live one. We also bought some langoustine, so fresh they were climbing out the bag. We had a great birthday lunch,Day 2 returned and bought scallops and tried squat lobster for the first time. Great place to shop for your sea food when visiting Tiree. We didn't try the sandwiches but have promised ourselves a lunch stop next visit, they looked fabulous. Thanks so much hope to see you all again soon
