Oh dear... such a shame. I only write a bad review in the hope that it will help management to improve. Just ordered our take away and first thing we notice is the large cod is not large. Soggy batter so not crispy fish. Not particularly flavoursome...so perhaps it's not a good fish supplier? And a pound for each sachet of tartar sauce..it's not homemade it's a sachet!Come on....try to improve....

Three of us visited for Saturday lunch in their garden. They donât have any service, apart from food delivery, as you have to order everything at the bar. We chose four sharing dishes, plus Crispy Squid, Couscous and Roast Vegetable Salad and Sweet Potato Roulade. All were nice.

Traditional Fish & Chips, made with our 50 year old special recipe! At Georges's, we only use the freshest snd best quality fish!
This is seriously the best fish and chips in London. Been eating it for about 25 years and still have not had anything better and I have tried. It is a little pricey but it is definitely worth it. My wife was won around as soon as she moved to enfield. Good solid portion sizes and I always have stuff leftover for the morning even if I only order chips!Excellent family service with a smile too

We went for a drink and bite to eat on a weeknight. Inside is very nice. There is an Extensive gin selection and I was offered the Gin of the week. There are lots of tables outside and most had umbrellas so we managed to sit outside despite a bit of rain. There are even seating booths outside which was different. Had to wait a long time for the second round of drinks and the staff member behind the bar was quite stressed but they did apologise for that later. There are various meal offers on week nights, burger chips and drink for £12 was good value and tasty. Good place for groups both inside and outside. Not sure if there is step free access from the car park into pub, as we went through the garden down some steps to get to the bar. Worth a visit.A massive thank you for reviewing us,We really appreciate you taking the time to come to The Winchmore. My team and I are delighted you loved the decor. We do go to extensive research on our drinks products which we are so proud about. I have spoken to my team about being faster at service and making sure our customers receive their drinks in a reasonable time. Thank you for mentioning our daily food offers. All our food is cooked fresh. We caterer for everyone and we really care about our customers. Please let me know next time your in as I would love to get to know you more, if you ask myself Mark,Have a wonderful week,All the best,Regards,Mark

Buckle & Vaughan provides the ultimate social and dining experience; original menus and attentive service are fundamentals we pride ourselves in. Our newly opened restaurant in Winchmore Hill boasts a vibrant scheme of earthy colours, reflective of the fr
I was very impressed with this restaurant in so many ways. I thought the food was of a very good standard, the staff were extremely friendly and the setting was just right, not too formal or too casual.I opted for the a la carte menu as it had far more in the way of meal choices than the lunchtime menu which was a little limited.I had the calamari to start, and I could tell that it was cooked from fresh and not the tasteless frozen type! The veal was plentiful and my companionâs risotto was cooked to perfection. The staff were very helpful, they didnât try to rush you and even went next door to get me a cappuccino after their machine wasnât working well.!All these things make for a lovely dining experience and I would highly recommend. Plan to return very soon.

First visit to this popular place so I can only judge on one experience and one meal. Service was a little slow staff did not seem alert to people needing service but the staff were pleasant. Meal was reasonably priced and I would say good value for money but it certainly is not a gourmet dining experience and it doesn't purport to be that. I would visit again to sample the varied menu.Hi,Thank you very much for taking the time to review us. Sorry to hear aboout the service being a little slow, I have passed your comments on to the staff. We hope to see you again so that you can fully enjoy your experience with us. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Inn on the Park is a great place to Come and dine with friends and family.
We were a party of five and when we arrived, we were shown to table 13/1 which is a round table located in the corner of the front dining area and is very comfortable for parties of 5/6 adults. Our server, Carmela was very prompt in taking our drinks and food orders and also in serving them up shortly after. Most of us ordered the sirloin steaks for our mains which were very tasty and cooked to order. We all had a great evening as we normally do in this place as we find this restaurant very relaxing and comfortable and will certainly return again in the near future.Another fab review from you Alan :) such great news to hear that we was able to provide outstanding service again :) see you again soon :)

At Gastronomical, every burger we serve is handmade by us using three cuts of prime, 30 day dry aged, grass fed, free range beef. Each is individually seasoned, minced and blended to exact specifications, to create what we believe is the perfect burger. O
I feel bad that it's taken so long to write this review because we really enjoyed our meal at Gastronomical Burgers. We were staying locally and wanted to try the restaurant after reading the reviews. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant wasn't full when we arrived, but the ambience was perfect - lots of candles and music at just the right volume. So far so good, but what about the food? We shared the wonderfully dramatic starter to make sure we had room for the main course. We both chose burgers and they were excellent - perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The accompaniments and relishes were also superb. We don't normally have deserts but they were so tempting we couldn't resist. Quite honestly, I can't even remember what my husband had (although he said it was amazing) because I was so blown away by the Marguerita ice-cream with Tequila. OMG - it was so, so good. Please, if you choose this *drink the tequila*, donât pour it over the ice-cream. It was absolutely sublime and we might have to travel down to London/Hertfordshire again soon just so I can taste it again. The service throughout was perfect - charming and attentive, with a bit of personality.Chris made a point of greeting us as we left, which I understand he tries to do with all diners. All in all - this was a wonderful (excellently priced) dining experience in a great setting with charming people; what's not to love?
