Called into the Stanney Oaks Harvester after a visit to nearby Cheshire Oaks retail park.Only had a cold drink here. There is a good selection of beers, spirits and wine and the large bar area, which is adjacent to the dining area, was clean and tidy.A pint of San Miguel, Pinot Grigio spritzer and Nobbts dry roasted nuts came to just over £8 so good value for money.Thank you for your positive review

Six of us had a meal tonight and it was all excellent, we were all served our food within a two minute period, good considering that we had a variety of cooked dishes and we are not talking of a kitchen with multiple chefs. After our pre dinner drinks we ordered some red wine, we took the recommended Malbec which was excellent.OK now service, perfect, attentive but not pushy. Really perfect.I very much recommend this pub for a couples or more friends dinner, try it, it's worth it.

Just visited today with the family. The place was empty when we arrived but filled up for the match which gave it a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great pint of Guinness and the food for all of us came fresh, piping hot and tasted great. Definitely recommend tying here.

We had dined elsewhere for our main dinner and didnât feel like paying £7 for deserts we see everywhere, we fancied something special, so we came to Dolci and was impressed with the variety of options. For the same cost of a neighbouring restaurants common desert we were able to each get something different, and delicious. Our waitress was lovely and attentive and we all left happy.

A unique steakhouse experience -At Miller & Carter we know a thing or two about steak. In fact, we could say that we're one of the best steakhouses in Ellesmere Port. But we'd rather leave that to your judgement.Because once you've tasted our hand-cut, 28
Another lovely steak at our favourite restaurant. The lettuce wedge is so crisp and the dressing is divine. (My favourite is the blue cheese). I would love the recipe for the unique onion loaf and the steak, so tender and juicy. I usually have the bistro rump 30 day aged and the sumptuous beef dripping sauce.. I should really try others on the menu... might do the sharing chateaubriande next time.. .. up to the usual standard tonight and we were looked after perfectly by lovely Steph. Many thanks Hi Diane!Thank you for such a detailed review. We've actually just launched a new menu with a few new steaks on. Definitely worth a try next time you come in. I will let Steph know of the lovely feedback.See you again soonManagement

We are dedicated to Real Food, Real Kitchen, Real Chefs. We do not do fast food, but we do great food as fast as we can.
My dear sister recently watched a documentary on independent television called The Real Housewives Of Cheshire, a gritty, no nonsense portrayal of life in the North-West of England. As a contrast to Islington she was keen to see such deprivation for herself so we asked Baker to fire up the Daimler and headed up the M1. It was as bad as we feared with men seemingly unable to afford warm coats on what was a cold autumn night and the women dressed in rags: I don't think I saw a pair of jeans that wasn't practically in tatters all evening. We obviously needed an escape from this poverty and whilst driving round spotted The Cheshire Yeoman. The establishment is divided into a dining area and a bar area with the two being strictly divided along gender lines: ladies in the dining area and the men drinking in the bar. Having settled ourselves at a vacant table a friendly lady provided us with menus. Everything on offer looked inviting and it was difficult to choose. Our meals didn't take too long to arrive and were well presented. The food was good but could have been better with my dear sister's beef being a little dry, but the excellent service easily compensated for this. In the meantime Baker had finished a well kept pint of beer and a packet of crisps in the car park. Our journey back to the comforts of the capital passed without incident.

We attended a function here but rather than being in the restaurant room we were in the function room. This was nice bright and airy (clearly recently decorated) leading off into a very nice garden area. The staff were lovely, very helpful and enough of them as the bar was very busy. We had pre-ordered food which you would expect for a planned event however, nothing tasted or appeared that it had been kept warm languishing under a heat lamp! Had a fishcake to start which was really nice followed by baked cod. My partner had roasted tomato & red pepper soup followed by roast beef and we both had the meringue for pudding. The food was delicious especially as it was a very large group the food did not suffer! A thoroughly good experience even the house wine was really nice!
