Very remote location in oldest Inn on Skye, with old character to the restaurant-pub, surprisingly fine food. They should up the game with vegetarian offerings; not pasta as the main entree again! New chef owner will see to that. We seafood eaters were well pleased. Had good fun with the deadpan server from central Europe.

Artisan, freshly ground coffee, tea, highland baking and a warm welcome all in a stunning yurt at Skyeskyns, Waternish, Isle of Skye. Open daily 10:30 am - 4:30 pm throughout the summer season.
We had coffee and cake here that were to a high standard although at a price (£12.70). Considering this isnât a âbig city establishmentâ these prices were rather high, however they did allow dogs into the Yurt, so some bonus. However they donât allow dogs in Skye Skyns factory or the shop.Thank you for your review and we hope you enjoyed your visit. We do our best to price our goods equitably and keep them low compared to other Skye establishment. The shop and the tannery are not suitable environments for dogs but they are always welcome in the Yurt!

An intimate and contemporary Scottish restaurant with classic French influences in the beautiful fishing village of Stein, Isle of Skye.
I can't remember when I last enjoyed a meal as much. Everything about this lunch was perfect. Mid week, mid October, wet and windy outside. But inside is a little gourmet haven which you honestly wouldn't expect to find in quite such a remote location. It is so relaxed, no stuffiness at all. Everyone chatting and clearly having fun. Excellent service and brilliant food. It's rare to eat a meal where every course is of the same high standard and every element on every plate is equally successful and delicious.I take my hat off to the chef and thank him for giving me and my husband such a memorable experience. Now all I have to persuade him to do is to give me the recipe for clootie dumpling...!

Our lunchtime food is vegetarian and vegan. We aim to source organic and local vegetables wherever possible. We have selected over 25 teas and infusions from all over the world.
What a delightful find, particularly for vegan / vegetarian diners. However you donât need to be vegetarian to enjoy delicious food and cakes in a beautiful, tranquil setting.

Smart, clean with home cooked food from soup to paninis all local products including our salad which is picked & delivered within 1hr. Even our coffee is roasted on the isle of skye with a blend you will not find anywhere else.
We loved the hospitality that we received here as well as the food. Locally owned, locally sourced, such a great place to stop and look at the views and enjoy a delicious dessert. Would recommend the fresh strawberries and homemade vanilla ice cream. It was glorious.

Cafe Bistro, with decking providing outside seating to the rear of the Cafe Bistro, looking out over Loch Dunvegan. Next to the village filling- station,
Tucked away in Dunvegan, Skye, this super dog friendly bistro is brilliant. The staff are delightful, restaurant spotless, the food delicious, hot and tasty. One to visit, you will not be disappointed

The Old School Restaurant is a favourite. Food is fresh and delicious, service is great, and the setting is very unique! I have eaten here in 2016 and 2019 on trips to Isle of Skye. You will likely need reservations, as it is a popular establishment. I highly recommend you try it.
