My first visit here tonight and I must say I will most definitely be going back. We booked a table, as we know it can get busy over the weekend. Showed to our table by a happy, polite waitress. We ordered our meals and within 15 mins our food arrived. Very fresh and hot straight from the kitchen. Food was very tasty. I went for the steak and Stilton pie with peaâs, carrots, broccoli and cabbage. I swapped the mash for chips. Lovely portion size too. My friend had the sweet potato burger with chips. I must say the choice in deserts was great! My friend went for the ice cream. I was far to full to eat anymore. Again nice portion size, a good generous scoop with wafers and flakes . Just enough and wasnât too heavy after a lovely main.. Nice atmosphere, staff attentive, friendly and pricing very reasonable. Will definitely be returning, and most definitely recommend to friends and family .. Thank you x Thank you so much for your lovely review. We look forward to you coming back again soon!

Haven't been to this chippy in Station Road for years as quality declined and fish and chips greasy. Decided to give it another go and what a transformation - perfect batter and chips were super. Now we don't have to travel so far for a chippy! Please keep up the good work.

Long enjoyable drive from Gravesend to meet friends for a beer to two with lunch. Found this place, great location, very nice large establishment with outside terrace, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Only thing that let it down was the poor service from some of the bar staff, one of the young lads (maybe new) looked as if he was on something, very spaced out took ages just to get ice in a glass for gin and tonic. Still, great place.Hi Mark. Thanks for comments. I think you are unfair to criticise the looks of my staff. He can not help his appearance. I can assure you he or any of my staff are ON anything. i accept any criticism regarding service, but i will not have my staff personally attacked. Thank you

Casual family friendly restaurant est 1996. Serving best quality produced cooked to order. Breakfast, Lunch, Evening meals and Sunday Roast. Cocktails and fresh serve yourself salad bar. 1960's 70s music and walls lined with memorabilia.
Busy, popular themed restaurant. They have gone to a lot of trouble to decorate the walls with posters and memorabilia relating to Elvis Presley, The Beatles etc. The music is 1950s and 1960s era. It's a nice place to eat. Very friendly, attentive staff. The quality of the food was rather variable, though. This is the sort of food I like - steaks, burgers, ribs, nachos with cheese, buffalo wings, the sort of thing you get at TGI or at Arbuckles. The buffalo wings tasted odd, and we didn't finish them. I don't know if the chicken was off, or the flavouring was at fault. The nachos were plentiful and very nice. My ribs in barbecue sauce were absolutely smothered in a thick sauce that might have come from a bottle, I don't know, but anyway it was nowhere near as nice as the Tennessee variant of the ribs which seemed to be marinated in something flavoursome. Ribs come with chips or salad - it would be healthier if they provided vegetables instead of making them an optional side order. The salmon was good. The "rest rooms" consisted of one male and one female cubicle and they could do with greater capacity there. Beer nicely chilled. Might try this restaurant again if we're in the area.

Highly recommend a visit, the staff are always friendly and helpful, the food is fresh and the menu offers traditional and also a less traditional tasty menu. The halloumi special is really nice. They accommodate dogs in the large garden area, with covered seating if required.

Visited here two years ago and I was the only one with a bad meal. The pea risotto was dire, apparently the soux chef had missed something out but Webb when he dud me another it was awful. Ended up with a burger eating it on my own.! However i thought id give them a second chance at lunchtime sunday. Two salads 24 pound was decidedly expensive. Light bites they definitely were. My salmon was fine , small but tasty. My partners blue cheese and walnut salad with apple dressing arrived ( after some time when the restaurant was half empty)with no walnuts and no dressing. Strangely we were told by the young barman, the chef had left them out (again?) For goodness sake, its not hard is it. Not like it's a special recipe. This was rectified ( after some time, where I had to slow down my eating). Still a sparse salad though.Wont be going back
