It's new. Was previously called Hudson and Bridges
We are real foodies and this place is hands down exactly how I'd have a cafe. Great spread of choice (not too much) throughout the day (many places are sold out of this that and the other). I love their decor and the simple look inside. The breakfast was one of the best I've had and thinking about those scrambled eggs make me hungry again. The cakes were fab, drink choice solid and staff smiley and easy going which is what you need. The shop / takeaway across the road is ace too. Although further out, you can visit on the volks railway and the cafe is well worth a visit in my opinion. Try it out and you will NOT be disappointed.

Great little wine cafe in downtown Brighton. As an Italian wine freak I'm usually disappointed in the selection and expected the same from a wine cafe in England. I mean beer is really the focus for the country after all. Was I in for a surprise. Luca and Megan were so helpful and friendly and their choice was spot on. Not expensive to break the bank AND good enough in flavor and body to make even me happy!! Tapas were also great. Friendly place and I'd go again if I'm ever in Brighton again!! Cheers!!

The Old Bank Steak & Ribs Restaurant is a great place for family and friends to enjoy freshly prepared delicious and good quality steaks, pork ribs, fresh fish, burgers, vegetarian meals and salads. The kids menu has a good choice of fresh meals including
Thank you so much for a fabulous and delicious dinner in a wonderful restaurant. Absolutely worth the cab ride from Brighton shops one Sunday evening. Found you by chance and so glad we did!!! King Prawn starter followed by T-bone steak and ribs/wings combo with salad, coleslaw and chips for mains were excellent and generous. New Zealand SB was also yummy, only beaten by the best onion rings we have ever had! Service from Veli and Alex was top notch. Just so gutted we live 20 miles away or we would be there every week. Please can you open another in Haywardâs Heath to blow the socks of a very mediocre local Miller and Carter. Really fantastic place, thanks again! XDear Kath,Thank you for posting such a glowing review and for sharing your experience.Veli and Alex really appreciated your praise and the kitchen team were delighted that you so enjoyed your meals. I have to agree that our onion rings are truly yummy but with those and your choice of starters and mains, I guess you didn't make it to dessert. Next time, leave a little space for our home made ice cream, made fresh every day with Jersey cream, quite delicious with our "sampler" costing only £2.50! (And, sorry, no plans to open in Haywards Heath, as yet.....)Kind regards,Stephen.

A local family run English cafe specializing in all day home cooked breakfasts, brunches, snacks and drinks - all to have in or takeaway. Non-pretentious food cooked to perfection in a happy and relaxed setting.
We didn't have breakfast there but the lady that runs it was charming and allowed us to sit and have coffee's with our friends, while they ate breakfast. They were really impressed with the standard of their breakfasts, and the value for money. I had the best oat milk latte that I have ever had. A huge cup of steaming delicious coffee. Loved the place and the atmosphereThank you so much for your lovely review. We have just discovered a barista version of oat milk which we are able to froth into a proper latte or cappuccino - it's our little secret! We are so glad you and your friends enjoyed your time with us and we hope to see you again in the future.

Wonderful service, amazing banana and spinach cake ! Very nice coffee. We sat outside and watched the world go by, enjoyed the cake and coffee and hope to come back for lunch soon. Love the sugar cubes with tongs so many establishments forget the tongs so thank you.

You could easily miss this little pub but shame on you if you do. The friendliest little place in town. Miss B's Sunday roast is sublime. Firstly, the veggie option is a homemade nut roast;I'm sick of pubs offering pastry ('cause you really need carbs with your carbs). You get a pot of cheese sauce, a jug of gravy and a really generous amount of food. Neil is the eccentric friendly host that keeps everything running smoothly and happily.

In Norfolk Square, The Gingerman Restaurant has a small, intimate dining room and a superb menu of modern British cuisine made with fresh, local produce. Full of unique character, the stylish restaurant possesses a great reputation within the city. With
We'd planned a brief trip to Brighton but Gingerman was fully booked in the evening. We went there to have lunch instead (from a lower cost but much shorter menu), asked about that evening and they said they'd fit us in if we came at 8.30. The staff were friendly and the food of the standard you'd expect from a place with a Michelin star. With a bottle of Bobal we had the pig cheek and clam chowder starters and for mains monkfish and partridge. All shared, for that tasting menu experience. A delicious evening and it seemed a very friendly place, staff and customers. We ended up chatting to the couple on the next table and the staff gave us a little 50th anniversary dessert.

PLEASE NOTE: Jane Bom-Bane, who runs Bom-Bane's, has been out of action for a while, so the cafe will only be opening for certain nights In Nov and Dec. Chefs Andre and singer/chef Eliza will still be putting on pop-up foodie and music nights. See website
Limited seating. Belgium food. Sausages and mash PLUS Belgium beer. See my YouTube interview with Jane under Jilliana in Brighton. Music and singing in the basement down a metal spiral staircase. There used to be a cinema club on Wednesdayâs with food. Check if still going on. Excellent place. Highly recommended. Go, go, go!!

Pub and kitchen based in the Preston Park area of Brighton, serving locally sourced and freshly cooked British cuisine.
I met my sister (and dog) for lunch at The Station and was instantly impressed with the spotless surroundings, and friendly welcome. We chose to share a selection of the Bar Snacks and these were bar snacks par excellence....I am still dreaming about the Ragu and Mash. The food was sublime and I cannot wait to visit again - this time for their Sunday lunch which I am sure will be second to none. Thank you for a lovely Wednesday lunch!
