FORMER Dragonâs Den hopeful and Hot Diggidy Dog chilli sauce entrepreneur Simon Llewellyn has opened The Sausage Revolution. We serve a range of fresh hot dogs, mash in a box, breakfast in a box, Cuban sandwiches, freshly made pizzas, ice cream trays and
Possibly the worst, undercooked, fattiest bacon sandwich Iâve ever had. Some of the oversized greasy sandwiches may appeal to junk food fanatics (there were a lot of contractors/builders in there), but not for me.

Love love love this restaurant, have been wanting to visit for ages, finally got around to doing so & I did not disappoint! From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome, the staff are so lovely! We ordered from the tapas menu & it was delicious, the chorizo was particularly good, a were the prawns. Next time I go I will definitely be ordering the steak on a sizzler, lots of people sitting around us had them and they looked and smelt soooo good! My husband ordered an expresso Martini, but they had run out of one of the ingredients, so substituted it with milk, so what they brought was a really milky, sweet drink, my husband didnât like it (although he still drank it ). When the manager came over to clear the empty glasses and asked if he liked it - my husband explained that he didnât, so the manager gave us a free round of drinks... we didnât ask for them, he just brought them over, he didnât have to but it was a really nice touch! I would recommend a visit to this place and will definitely be returning - well done Cariad we have a fantastic night!

The food was absolutely amazing - tasted as good as it looked. Not a huge choice, about 6 starters, mains and desserts but everything was delicious. Wines reasonably priced. Very simply decorated room, immaculately clean. Friendly waiter. Good choice of background music.

Met with some friends to celebrate a birthday midweek. For starters we tried the Pate (which was gorgeous) and the Mushrooms in Stroganoff sauce which were also very tasty. For main, three of us had the Trout which everyone enjoyed and I had the Battered Cod off the main menu with chips (which was very fresh and tasty). Compliments to the chef Simeon as we all enjoyed it as usual. As they close during the week after lunch, we didn't have desert as we were the last people in there so we went nextdoor instead for coffee and cake. Unfortunately, it was chucking it down with rain so we didn't manage our usual little stroll around The Knap. One of these days we must try their Sunday Lunch which sounds good too. We have been several times now and every time the food is great.

Iâve gone here often for treats such as birthdays and what not. And the food is consistently brilliant. I donât mind the decor and the staff are ever so friendly and nice atmosphere prevails. The steaks are always brilliant and I love how your main course is built up in front of you adding a bit of theatre to the meal. I also love the French onion soup which I have every-time and itâs always delicious and never get boring

The Blue Anchor Inn was one of the first pubs in South Wales to produce quality bar meals back in the 1980's. Since then we have gone from strength to strength, winning awards including the South Wales Food Pub of the year for four years,2013, 2011, 2008
Fantastic food, had mussels to start and monk fish and prawn curry, my boyfriend had homemade pork pie to start and hake with linguine in a crab bisque both meals were fabulously tasty, friendly helpful staff, lovely old pub, good atmosphere in restaurant, very good wine, also love the cider. Please get some custard for the plum and apple crumble missed out on that one. Parking on site. Nice sunny beer garden. Sunday roast is good also.

The Six Bells Inn has all the character, charm & looks of a traditional village inn, situated in the picturesque village of Penmark. With it's roaring log fires and its warm and inviting interior, it is the perfect place to escape from the long winter mon
We were very pleasantly surprised...the pub looks not a lot from outside..even a bit run down...We found this place in "BritStop" book & were planning to take motor home but changed mind at last minute.Inside its newly refurbed and very nice. I had a starter of Fishcakes hubby had calamari... he asked a Q about his starter & immediately it was replaced ... Calamari like the fish cake was very nice. The main courses Lamb Rump & Ribeye were better than I've had in Cardiff restaurants & the portions were huge.. CHIPS TO DIE FOR !! sauces with both meats exceptionally tasty ....We had plans for desserts & chessboard but "eyes bigger than bellies" we shared a cheesecake which again was a large good quality portion of food.Very reasonably priced wine list & menu ..Highly recommend... we will be back with our Motor home...no taxis or need to drive ... We wish you well in your business...Thank you x

Extensively refurbished in 2016 and is now established as a first class all rounder for quality food, ales, wines and service in Barry
Thought we give the Cwm Talwg a go as it's number 3 out if 81 restaurants in Barry.Unfortunately on our visit it fell well below our expectation, normally can't go wrong with a brains pub.The mains where underwhelming and desert was an epic fail. Upon leaving this family friendly venue had the unfortunate experience of a group of trades men, one who was urinating in the patio area! Won't be returning.Hello BothI can only whole heartedly and genuinely apologise for your experience here yesterdayThe Service and Quality issues identified I accept full responsibility for and will be shared with the team here to ensure that we fulfill what we have been hugely proud of previously, in terms of providing Guest Satisfaction If there is anything I can do for you in the future please contact me personally and I will do all I can to ensure that this happensWarmest RegardsJeremy

We visited on a Saturday morning around 10am for breakfast. The quality and the quantity of the cooked breakfast was excellent. From the bacon, to the slices of bread, to the milkshake, we thoroughly enjoyed it all. We couldn't fault any of it and the price was very reasonable. Staff were cheery and welcoming. Thoroughly recommended.
