Mystery Tea House, 100s of teas to choose from and try. I went for the Himalayan Adventure black tea. Served with lemon and honey, in a lively teapot and handleless cup. What a treat! I also had a vegan wrap served with a huge salad and pot of hummus. It was delicious! Im definately going back to sample more food and unusual teas! Highly recommended!

A really good Pub that serves real Ale and used to serve good value food as well. Sadly the kitchen has not been open for some time.

Embracing the rural charm of its tranquil, scenic setting, The Walton Fox offers a modern twist on traditional country pub dining. As well as offering a beer garden for enjoying summertime dining, the cosy dining room is filled with rustic original featur
A good selection of dishes for a lunch menu, with friendly staff.Prices were about right for pub grub type fayre. We had a Gammon Steak which came with either chunky frozen chips or thin frozen chips and 2 fried eggs on top. No veg or salad garnish as these are extras. Also a rump steak sandwich served with fried onions on a ciabata type bread with chunky frozen chips. With a half lager and a soft drink the bill came to less than £20.Nothing special but nice enough with friendly staff as stated. Would be much better with fresh chips and/ or a wider selection of potatoes. However, no complaints.Hi Tim,Thank you very much for taking the time to review us, we are pleased to hear you enjoyed your lunch and found the team to be friendly. I will pass on your feedback with regards to the potato options. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon,Lindsay and team.

Visited with friends on recommend and was very impressed so revisited for a mid week family Birthday and standards were the same IE excellent well prepared food with good friendly service - wine list okay but usual average standards but as itâs not pretending to be a wine bar itâs not a major issue. However I can recommend the Gins and beers available - would definitely recommend and will be returning

English country pub, serving traditional classic pub food. We also cater for Gluten Free & Vegans. Telephone orders welcome, we also cater for small functions, birthdays, christenings & Wakes. Christmas Parties bookings now being taken
We used to visit at least once a week and the food and service were excellent. However, since the takeover a good while ago, it has just gone downhill to the point we will not be visiting again. Such a shame and new owners should be ashamed

just visited the curious cafe with a friend on recommendation from family and friends. The cafe is Alice in Wonderland themed and is tastefully decorated with all manner of Wonderland delights. The staff were brilliant, very helpful and friendly. nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was excellent, soup, two types of sandwiches, two savoury options,Eton mess, a large slice of own choice cake and three bitesize traybakes and and we were able to take home what we couldn't finish.A pot of tea and as it was a special occasion a glass of prosecco finished off a wonderful afternoon tea. I would highly recommend the curious cafe for any time of day .

We had this pub/restaurand recommended to us and wr decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and the menue had lots of choice. - They cater very well for a gluten free diet.. As it was Sunday we opted for the sunday lunch menu. There was an offer for two courses and it was more than ample. We had a glass of wine and a beer and it was excellent at a reasonable price. We will certainly return again soon. My only complaint as with many establishments was the loud music. It was so bad that it was difficult to hold a conversation - you don't need it!! If it is like that next time it will be our last visit.Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we look forward to seeing you again soon. The Hunters

Our welcoming cafe serves up hearty and wholesome dishes lovingly prepared using locally sourced, seasonal produce. There's everything from top quality barista coffees - including our own unique St Catherine's blend - to cakes, soups, salads, sandwiches,
Amazing breakfast - freshly made, tasted great and was full for the day. Service was great and staff were really friendly. What people need to realise is this place is supporting the hospice. I donât mind waiting for my meal that little bit longer. These people are volunteers not Michelin starred chefs. Not 200 yards away people are coming to the end of their life. People need to get a grip and realise their surroundings. If you feel that strongly - go to your local pub. Iâve been multiple times and never had an issue.
