Algarve.
A fabulous venue, run by fabulous hosts Ronnie & Gay who make your experience every time you go. The food, service and drinks are faultless and there is always a friendly, family orientated atmosphere going on.The only thing I'm yet to try is the Tuesday Night curry night, which I've heard amazing things about. It's on my to-do list! We will go back again and again and again. In fact they're probably sick of us.... Georgie (from the Stanojevic clan!) xxx

Super friendly staff welcomed us and looked after us throughout our meal. Catering to our dietary requirements (dairy intolerance) was not an issue at all. The fish was out of this world. We were recommended the couples fish plate which had a selection of sea bass, salmon and prawns and every piece was amazing.Thank you to the New Fat Frog

European restaurant specialising in international and mediterranean cuisine. Quality meats, fresh local seafood, seasonal ingredients, and a wine list ideal for the wine lover. Enjoy lunches with a large salad selection and/or dinner where Chef gets creat
A group of us went to enjoy the carvery, but as we had a vegan with us, I spoke to Simon beforehand and asked if they could organise food for her. They could not have been more helpful. Ironically she had her best vegan meal during her visit to a carvery. Not only did they do a delicious nutroast for her, but they also did her vegetables separately and prepared a "gravy" of basil and tomato. Meanwhile we enjoyed an excellent meal with a choice of 3 meats, beef, lamb or pork, with a varied assortment of vegetables. There is a delicious couvert of home made bread, tapenade etc.If you have an special dietary requirements and contact them beforehand they will try to accommodate you. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. A very enjoyable lunch was had by all.The only downside is the price of the drinks.Dear Shrillyd - It was a pleasure having your group with us at Solar Do Poeta. Thrilled you enjoyed and thank you for this lovely review and highlighting that guests with alternative or special diets are more than welcome at our restaurant. We are more than happy to accommodate and with advanced warning it lets us get creative in the kitchen, and improve the diners experience, so enjoyable for everyone! We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
