I had a good breakfast here, poached eggs, sausage and with toast and coffee. Unfortunately there were no clean tables. When the waitress was about to set the tray down I asked her to clean the table, well she cleaned most of it, then looked around at at least 5 other tables that needed cleaning, ignored them and went back to the kitchen. I was there for about half an hour and none of the tables were cleaned. I decided to write this because I see that management actually respond to complaints. I will definitely be back and hopefully this will be resolved.Hi Travellingsilent2019My name is Alan and I am the owner of the Causeway Cafe. I was really surprised and happy that they offer a vegetarian tasting menu but only knocked a mark off as some of the courses offered were a bit samey for vegetarians and there was not enough variety. Was good to have the wine pairing however and enjoyed the casual and relaxed atmosphere.

If your visiting Belfast and want something to eat without fancy price tags the visit the West gourmet Sandwich Bar situated near the now famous Primark Building Castle St it has a great variety of hot and cold sandwiches panninis and a variety of other dishes for the on the go visitor and of course there is always the good old Ulster fry on offer for a reasonable £5.95 that's for the large BTW service as always in our City is friendly and you don't have to wait to long once your order is in only downside you may have to wait on a table especially on Saturdays but don't let that put you off as it wouldn't be long. So next time your in Belfast give it a try

Had been wanting to come for a while based on the trip adviser rating. Arrived early and were seated immediately. Staff were friendly explaining the speciality boxty dishes which we all ordered. Food was very nice all washed down with some nice wine. Overall a really nice meal with just a couple of things that marked it down form a five star review. Just the one scallop with the scallop and pork belly starter priced at £12 and we were at a high table with high chairs which werenât the most comfortable after 2 hrs

Absolutely top notch! Fabulous personal service but not over the top. Beautiful cocktails, food was exceptional, I had black bean tofu stir fry - it was the most delicious vegetarian meal I've had since visiting Asia 2years ago. My husband had the chicken salad dish which was equally fresh and tasty . Excellent value for such a high quality, professionally cooked meal. Restaurant was not overcrowded, this place very obviously specialises in the importance of customer experience Would recommend to book early to avoid disappointment

This is a place we visit often. The menu is consistently great and the staff wonderful. Tonight was an 86th Birthday Treat for the family Chief and didn't disappoint. Efficient and cheerful service from a great team and again a wonderful varied menu with vegetarian options. They have a great wine list and local beers.

Whilst visiting Belfast we prebooked Gingers for a relatives 60th birthday meal as my husband had been a couple of times prior whilst travelling for business. We couldnât have asked for a better night of celebrations. Unfortunately our guests were delayed, I called Gingers and they were very understanding Despite our late arrival we didnât feel at all rushed Choice of beers and wine were excellent. The food menu was extensive including a vegetarian menu which three of us chose from Amazing starters and mains, we didnât have room for a pudding but shared a cheese board. Superb service - will be back next time we are in Belfast and will definitely recommend to all friends and family.
