A beautiful old pub with lots of character. A well decorated and cosy interior which was clean and atmospheric. The food was delicious and portion size was good. 4 different starters and 4 main meals and everyone enjoyed their choice. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Well worth visiting this little gem.

Me and my mate ate here for three nights on the bounce. Great food, great staff and an absolute gem. Nice little beer garden out the back with the owner tendering to it regularly. Keep up the excellent work as we will be back next year for the ABR Festival at Ragley Estate and will bring more likeminded bikers from Guernsey in 2020.Thanks for your great. Review, I remember i had quite a chat about the garden with your friend who I believe is a gardener and he gave me some great tips Look forward to welcoming you back anytime

Been several times now for breakfast on a Saturday morning, having parked in the adjacent free public car park. The food is simply excellent, with unlimited coffee. The staff are super friendly. The ambience is great. Value for money is unbelievable. Sky TV available if that interests you too.

The highly acclaimed Garden Restaurant is perfect for relaxing after shopping. Sink into soft leather sofas with a coffee and the newspapers, or lunch alfresco on the garden terrace and enjoy glass of wine with friends. Serving delicious home-made meals c
We visit Hillers on many occasions to buy lovely quality goods from the farm shop, go on the miniature railway with the children and afterwards enjoy a cuppa and piece of cake in the restaurant. On the last two occasions we have found the restaurant staff both unhelpful and rude. We have twice been asked at 4:40 if we would go and pay the bill as they have to take the money over to the farm. They donât close until 5pm and whilst I am happy to settle to be helpful on each occasion I have then been in a queue to pay and my tea has gone cold. Surely there must either be a mobile card machine for people eating outside or ask people to pay when they order their food. When we asked the waitress what cake there was she said itâs on the board over there but did proceed to tell us. When she brought the cakes she put them all on the table announcing what they were but a smile would have been nice or for her to say âwho is the chocolate cake forâ rather than us distributing everything ourselves. I will continue to frequent Hillers because I love their goods, the farm shop staff couldnât be more helpful as are the volunteers on the railway but I seriously think some of the restaurant staff are letting the side down.

Called in without booking, we were made very welcome. This is a very clean and quirky pub, that dates back hundreds of years and is full of character. The food was excellent and the staff attentive and friendly. My wife and I would highly recommend it.

We are locals and Broom Tavern is one of our favoute 'eating out' venues. The food is always excellent and the atmosphere cosy and welcoming. We booked a family occasion for 30 people there and it was exceedingly well done and appreciated by our family.

Late lunch at the Turk. Very friendly, very helpful and a most reasonably priced lunch which left us wanting to return later in the week with friends. My granary baguette with sausage and fried onions with a salad and coleslaw for £7 was just perfect. My wife had hot smoked salmon with the same salad and coleslaw. The beer was excellent and overall the service was 100%. How anybody can homestly give them a one score I just don't know.

Sunday lunchWe stayed in the indigo for the weekend but each night this restaurant was fully booked. However we managed a Sunday lunch....The beef was lovely and the Yorkshire puds were huge, the pork belly had too much fat and not enough meat, but tasty.Service was good apart from being the only ones in the restaurant not to be offered a drink from the drinks trolley, rather disappointing. Expensive for what you get but very tasty and included is service with the bill without getting a choice.Dear JohnmF5711TT, The Woodsman books up very far in advance at the weekends but we are glad that we could accommodate you this afternoon. Thank you for passing on your feedback about your Sunday Lunch with us and it has been delivered to the relevant departments. I apologise that you were not offered the drinks trolley. This must have been a genuine oversight on our part, however had you made your server aware we would have sent it over immediately or alternatively offered you a digestif on us. Service is optional and can be instantly removed if a guest so wishes but we are glad that you find your meal tasty. Next time you join us if you contact myself directly on [email protected] we can ensure that you have a drink from the trolley!Best, Rachael
