Reviews on Brew Pub food in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Probably best known for its eponymous beer, Sapporo—the capital of Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost island—has maintained the youthful and open atmosphere of the 1972 Olympic Winter Games, drawing international visitors for its annual Snow Festival and its world-famous ramen. Those seeking out the full diversity of Japanese cuisine will want to visit: a city with a ramen-inspired theme park is one that embraces and pampers foodies.

Booked our reservation through klook. The king crab, lamb and alcohol were worth the price! Decent variety of alcohol too, from beers to sake to whisky! Overall, it was a great experience for us, 1 small downside was that the waitress didn't clarify our order of potato croquettes. We wanted 3 pieces (1 for each of us), similar to the a la carte salmon, but ended with 3 plates of 4 pieces! Luckily, we were still able to devour them down!

Arrived in Sapporo and did a little shopping but soon got hungry. Took a while to find and searching in the rain meant we almost gave up but glad we didnât.Vending machine ordering is very easy and all the ramen we ordered was delicious - msg in the soup (Â¥200 extra for no msg!) and lack of drinks was the only shortfall although youâre in and out quickly and there is always a 7-eleven or FamilyMart nearby to buy a drink. As we left there was quite a queue (and none for any of the other restaurants) so very popular too.

This restaurant is part of Sapporo Factory Mall. It is housed in a small old brickhouse building section, with few other shops. Understand this used to be an old brewery. And the staff said this restaurant is owned by Sapporo Beer. The menu serves mostly Western type food. It has a nice ambience in a quaint atmosphere, with red brick walls & an "old" setting. You get a very nice feeling as if you are eating in an old warehouse, yet decor is modern & with comfortable settings.Seems popular as it was quite crowded. We tried the pizza and other Western food. The food though is pretty average. Might be worth to try here just for the ambience. Anyway there are only a handful of restaurants & cafes in Sapporo Factory Mall.
