Find out what Brew Pub restaurants to try in Machu Picchu. It's no wonder Machu Picchu is Peru's most-visited site. Dating to the mid-1400s, it's a marvel of mortar-free limestone architecture perched on a high plateau deep in the Amazonian jungle. Get there via train from Cusco or, if you're not faint-hearted, make the trip on foot via a multi-day hiking trail—you'll travel through deep Andean gullies and enjoy stunning views.

Was traveling solo in Agua Calientes (Machu Picchu Town) and came upon this bar. Got to try a few of the local craft beer---very tasty. I ran into a group of locals that were celebrating a construction job they just completed. They were super friendly (just like the owner of the bar) and eager to practice my English as I practiced my Spanish. So much fun!
Great spot in Machu Picchu village. Good music and great beer prices! Cozy and inviting, perfect for small groups.
