I heard that it served Japanese street food. That sounded intriguing so I checked it out. The menu had a lot of choices, many familiar, some new. After having our questions answered, we chose a seat outside. The music was a little loud, but the choice (Black Moth Super Rainbow) was interesting. Our food was served and, even though we sat outside, the food server was pleasant and attentive. Inside the restaurant is a touch table with bones, plant material, and pelts. It seemed an odd thing to have, but I loved it. I only have minor complaints: too many dishes where pork was the only option, the kimchi wasn't spicy, and there were no diet sodas.

Was shopping with our family at the crossings and passed by the tasting room , they had the USA womenâs World Cup soccer match on so we stopped in for a few drinks and ended up staying for the whole game. Bartender and manager were very friendly talked to us about the place as well as offered us some suggestions from the drink menu. I had smoked old fashion which was excellent , my wife had a cosmo. there were plenty of activities for the kids even a piano that my daughter started playing ( who knew she could play ) . Food menu is limited , and food was ok had the grilled cheese sandwich as well as chips and salsa . Would stop in again if at the crossing. We almost missed this place as we rarely shop on that side of the crossings - but glad we found it !Thanks for the wonderful shout out.The Tasting Room opened April 2019 and is a new addition to the fun Barley Creek has been trying to create for our guests since opening the Original Barley Creek just up the road in 1995 - It's a work in progress - and the team is excited make it work and surprise everyone bold enough to check us out. Cheers - Trip R.
