Reviews on Brew Pub food in Cork, Province of Munster, Ireland. Plan to cross many bridges when in Cork. Ireland's third-largest city began life as an island and now spans both banks of the River Lee, with watery channels running beneath some of its main thoroughfares. The best way to experience this hilly southern seaport is on foot, following the signposted walking tour past St. Finn Barre's Cathedral and the riverside quadrangle of University College up the hill to red and white Shandon Church. Along the way, you'll meet plenty of the city's talkative residents.

Great food. Lovely wine. The makings of this place is the staff. Attentive yet relaxed waiters. Chefs that you can see are preparing the food with great attention to detail. And the individual doing the wash up (you can also see this) was so diligent that it inspires confidence that everything done here was done to an excellent standard across the board. Well done to your team. Would recommend.

The Brew Pub of Franciscan Well boasts one of the best beer gardens in Cork City. Covered, heated and comfortable the beer garden is steeped in history. The Franciscan "Well" itself is still flowing today and the Brew Pub is based on the site of an ancien
We started our Whiskey Walk tour here. Such an inviting entrance that leads into a wonderfully comfortable indoor dining set up. There is outdoor seating as well as you continue back which is lovely on a good day. The Margareta Pizza was delicious and was made with fresh dough. Selection of beer and whisky is quite impressive.

No feverfew tonic availableI was served tonic with artificial sweetener: saccharin. I was not asked if I wanted mixer with artificial sweetener. You may have guessed I do not like artificial sweetener I will not be a returning customer. And the barman had the personality of a dead frog.A smile costs nothing.GoodbyeMaryAre you having a laugh?A one star review because we don't stock your preferred tonic? Really?? The fact we stock 4 different tonics must have escaped you or indeed that you were in micro-brewery and craft beer bar and not a cocktail bar. If you have an issue with artificial sweetener in products then I suggest you take it up with the manufacturers of that product or alternatively try one of our beers brewed 100% naturally with no artificial ingredients. My advice? The next time you're offered something with sugar in it....Take it!!!!!!!!
