Find out what Brazilian restaurants to try in Santos. Although it's also the location of the Latin America's largest seaport, Santos isn't just a boring port town. The city of 420,000, just 75 kilometers from São Paulo, features a seven-kilometer stretch of beach divided into just as many social cliques as you'd find on Ipanema. A verdant promenade separates the beach from the seafront condos and hotels, along which families and friends walk, amble, bike, skate, rollerblade, throw frisbees, you name it. Less sandy points of interest include the Museu do Café Brasileiro (Brazilian Coffee Museum), the Aquário Municipal (City Aquarium), the Orquidário Municipal (City Orchid Garden) and the Neo-Gothic Santos Cathedral.

Just amazing, one of my best eating experiences! Ordered a delicious fish covered with almond crusts and Orange sauce with a delicious rice with cheese - simply amazing! The service was also outsdanding, everyone polite and generous and helpful. A perfect experience, I would say. Wouldn't change anything at all. Really recommended!

I tried this restaurant for the very first time. It was recommended by friends. It was a amazing surprise. The menu has a good range of variety since salad, meat, fish, veggie , chicken til seafood. I went with my family including my twin grandchildren . Everebody tried a diferent dish and everybody loved it. The appetizer was buschetta with buffalo mozzarela, marinated tomato, olive oil and basil in a berth of italian bread slightly toasted . Delicious! I ordered San Peter Fish with grilled sweet potato and brussels sprouts. Very good! I really recommmend Yê . Surely I 'll return soon...

For Great Home cooked food, fantastic service and good value do not pass up this family restaurant. Ideally located next to 2 shopping centers near Ana Costa, your lunch will be a great memory... You will see many local customers who eat there daily...Roberta is the best host.....

This is a artesanal restaurant where the food is vegetarian friendly, but they also have meat and chicken. The presentation of the food is great. You pay by weight.

Whenever I go to Santos, I have to stop by this place and have lunch, since they are not open for dinner. I usually order the white tuna, or Meca, with an oriental sauce or named Thai sauce, which is a thick soy sauce with some sweet and sour flavor. Anyway, the sangria, a type of drink made with wine, pineaple is on the house and the banana with passion fruit syrup as well. You may spend about 20-25 dollars per person, it's worth it. Service is friendly and good. Paquito, the owner is always there, serving and checking if the customers are being well assisted.

The restaurant had a nice ambient and decor making you feel welcome once you step foot through the font doors. The service from the staff was exceptional and highly attentive. We had chosen Option number 4 which had Starter, Entree, Main and Dessert. The starter was great, we were given an olive oil aperitif, which popped in our mouths, and three different types of mini breads, freshly baked as the smell and texture of the bread was baked perfectly. Along with the bread was butter with Brazilian nuts, this was outstandingly amazing, I can spread this on bread any day! Also there were two different types of paté's made for the day, one tasted like Spring onion and the other one was like red pepper. For the Entree we had ordered Perfect egg which was cooked to perfection with 62.8 degrees. The egg was to die for, it was creamy and mixed together with the mashed cassava was heaven. The other entree we had ordered was the Salmon Creme Brulee, this was a savoury dish and was just ok. Now for the main dish I had ordered with great expectations, the Duck Confit, expecting a lot with this dish, when it was served, the presentation of the dish was spectacularly done, however unfortunately the dish in itself had failed every taste bud, it was unbearable to eat, every bite was awful. The duck was overcooked, it was dry and had NO flavour whatsoever, the accompanied red wine sauce which I thought would compliment the duck's tasteless status was appalling, it was just plain and bitter. The whole dish lacked salt or some sort of tanginess. On the other hand my boyfriend had ordered the Fideuá de camarão, this was amazing, the prawns with the thin pasta mixed with a tasty sauce, however it was overly salted. For the dessert we had the Three flavour Panna Cotta and the Chocolate, Chocolate and Chocolate. The panna cotta was great, especially the one with the passionfruit sauce as it was able to still provide the amazing vanilla bean panna cotta texture, where as the raspberry and the mango sauces had overpowered the Vanilla Bean panna cotta. Overall the experience was ok, however if the duck confit hadn't been dreadfully awful, it would have made the food experience at ELO sensational. Not recommended, just average.

The Van Gogh Pizzeria and Restaurant offers a diversified menu, since pastas until a rich variety of pizza's flavours.
The hotel reception recommended and there we went. My wife is celiac therefore pizza was out of question. After speaking with the waiter we decided for a risotto with dry tomatoes and rucula as this dish was guarateed gluten free. After awhile he came back and informed the dish contained gluten. After discussing alternatives he said they could produce a risotto gluten free. What we got was a dish of rice with tomato sauce and rucula. No bismato rice. It was not bad but not a risotto. We initially ordered a tonic campari but after 10 minutes we were learned they were out of campari. Solution was a caipiroska. We will think twice before returning
