Find out what Brazilian restaurants to try in Fortaleza. Beaches are the top draw in this sunny, rapidly developing city, particularly bohemian, party-hearty Iracema, family-friendly Meireles, fishing and boating base camp Mucuripe and low-key Praia do Futuro. Stalls at the Mercado Central or Feirinha Beira Mar brim with local handicrafts, ranging from ceramics to lacework and leather goods. The Dutch-built Fortress of Nossa Senhora da Assunção in the city center, constructed in 1649, marks the spot where Fortaleza originated.

Não valeu a pena, foi muita expectativa pra pouco hambúrguer. Hambúrguer com a carne com gosto diferente de carne. Mas o atendimento é bom.

Huge restaurant with live music elegantly playing in the background: enormous menu - we deliberately chose seafood based on the reviews. We weren't disappointed: we had a paella style dish of saffron rice with fish and seafood and it was delicious and they didn't scrimp on the seafood: beautiful muscles, prawns large and shell on and small shell off, lobster, white fish, calamari. It was beautifully cooked and very tasty. Good wine selection too and great service. We'll go again when we are back in town next weekend. Sadly the attached music lounge is modern stuff rather than traditional Brazilian live, but the music in the restaurant was pleasant enough.

Our family after arriving at Comfort Fortaleza went straight to Coco Bambu Frutos do Mar. It was an evening to always remember... The Server Mr. Gilliard was awesome, kind, professional, patience. We order a steak with spaghetti alfredo sauce, a ratatouille, and a tilapia dish cooked with vapor. One better than the other (just an eggplant that came a little bit bitter for being undercooked...)We had a wonderful time together with a great meal! Anyone in Fortaleza must go and check it out.

The best "pastel" in Fortaleza. And not only but also with several local specialities. Very good. You should list it
To honor an employee who was leaving us, for special reasons, we met at the Dom Pastel restaurant for lunch on Saturday two weeks ago. I already knew the Coco Bambu Restaurant from the same chain of restaurants and had delighted myself with the excellent food served there. Thus, the Restaurant Dom Pastel Costa Barros was a pleasant surprise. Air conditioning, live music, generous portions and great flavor. Various options, which can serve up to 4 people. Agile service. Anyway, a good option for a tasty and affordable meal. I recommend.

The flavors of the northeastern beaches directly to the elegant gastronomic center of Fortaleza. Already established in Recife, where it was founded. The portions are always plentiful (for two) and range from the exquisite modern cuisine to old recipes of
We had fish and risotto. As expected and no complaints, however didn't over achieve or surprised us. Good restaurant for after shopping time. Great cocktails! We were very happy when we received reviews like this! Come back to Camarada forever! :)

I had the Camarao Internacional and a Caipirinha de Caju. Both excellent. Service is attentive and courteous. Be aware that plates are well served and we shared among four persons.
