liked the atmosphere very much: very friendly serviceThe best carrot soup ever and lots of promising vegetarian dishes on the menu, which we did not try out yet, but are sure to come back for.

Great and sufficient food at a fair price, Nice surroundings, good, correct and friendly service. Parking available. To be honest, from a price-quality view, one of the better restaurants I have visited in the past months.I will go back there in summer as it seems it will be nice to eat outside as well.Maybe one negative comment - there had to be one - the changing area for babies is rather limited, but at least they have one!

This is the restaurant of the Hotel Geerts and is much better than you would expect from the hotel. Two large rooms and traditionally good Belgium fare. Service prompt, food tasty. The best restaurant by far in Westerlo, quite sophisticated.Dear Client,Thank you very much for your beautiful comment. See you soon in Westerlo!

Luckely we booked a table (2p) cause eating place was nearly fully booked.Big surprise about the service which was excellent, hubbie took his favorite steak plate, I went for a ladies steak, what was the perfect size for me, they use the meat like it should be... perfectly grilled... next time I.ll go for good quality chicken or fish & chips...Starter tapas was really good too.. really recommendable restaurant

They definitively go the extra mile for their customers. We were in fact a pretty difficult group: large, with some of us requiring halal food & others with specific food allergies, and we needed the room hours longer than we anticipated / requested. Not a single problem for the very friendly and efficient staff. And the food was delicious - for all of us.

Le Bon Vivant offer you a classic though suprising very good meal. It's in an informal farmhouse style, nice with or without your family. Informal & very friendly serivce accompanied with the same style cooking.

"Diverso" means "different" in Italian language.Indeed something different, with a mixed impression.Minimalist furnishing into a concrete building. Fireplace "warming up" the ambient, Kitchen "en view". Very good italian red wine "Nero D'Avola Reagaleali" from Tasca. We were a company of 8 businessman.Got a set menu with two choices of meals.Nice opening with two amouse bouche: - pork meat on yellow mais cake (called polenta but the real polenta is softer) - fried calamari cubeStarter was "zalm" (salmon).Got salmon on a bed of creamy neutral sauce and covered with some kind of jelly. Horseradish (or as italian say "cren" from Austrian Kren) would be more appropriated. Salmon good, but a very very neutral taste.Main course : haddock, nice, much tastier than salmon.Dessert: chose the 5 Italian cheese plate. Finally the real italian taste, with a good combination of young and ripe cheeses from several Italian regions.Gorgonzola, one of the most difficult cheese for the taste, was indeed very good. Cheese were accompanied with sweet apple chutney. I'd better take - italian style - figs jam/chutney. We sat about 7.30 pm and finished 10.45pm, far too long time.Hard to say according to the menu how much of real Italy you can find .I'd better call it a fusion restaurant, with Italian accent.

Overall dissapointing experience. Try to sell themselves as a fine dining restaurant but fail in many categories. Poor service, tables stay unattended for far too long. Poor knowledge of the dishes which ard served and very poor knowledge concerning the wine list. Not better than the average restaurant, but much mre expensive.

This is a special restaurant for me. I have been here several times during winter, summer, spring.....and it is always a pleasure to be in this beautiful restaurant with a lovely garden and a superb terrace....Mario is the chef and he makes everything from the bread to the little sweets which are served together with the coffee or tea at the end of the meal. Food is delicious and served by friendly Annick, Mario's wife. Other people working in the restaurant are all very friendly and dedicated. Really excellent place!!

This is a small restaurant in the sleepy town of Westerlo. We opted for the 5 course menu which gave a good balance of flavours. The food was well prepared and well presented. Clearly deserves the fine dining labelThe staff were friendly and reasonable efficient
