The cemetery tour guide recommended going back to Gulpen to eat. We found this little cafe near an old church. Place wasn't packed. The wait staff was friendly, spoke English, and was helpful interpreting the menu. Had a chicken soup and went for the recommended spicy chicken sandwich with a beer and was not disappointed. I would definitely come back.

it is a comfortable bistro, with a Nice terrace, and fresh homemade food
We found this place halfway a hike through the hills of Limburg and enjoyed a good winter lunch (pea soup). New restaurant, good dishes and pleasant service!
This place has friendly staff, delicious food, lovely interior decoration (some minor points that could be enhanced: look at the ceiling) and a wonderful view of the valley.

Always worth a visit when you are in the Voerstreek. Café Modern is on of the thee completely different pubs/bars/restaurant at a stone's cast in the centre of Teuven. It's located in a former ground school and overwhelms it's visitors with stylish elements and a unique atmosphere. Dishes of local products with a funky touch. Great choice of Belgian (and a few more) beers. Professional and friendly staff.

The restaurant style is ok, but the menu is very limited and the food not that great for quite a high price for the stuff you get. Nice terras in the summer. I would suggest, just go there for a drink and a small bite, but no main course

Hoeve de Bies is under new management since August 2018. Maurice and Peterhans worked together at a two Michelin-star restaurant before and now they have this absolute magnificent place. We had an extraordinary dinner that easily beats other restaurants in the region by a mile. The wine selection is splendid as well and the service is excellent and very friendly. Go here!

Trains traveling over the Montzen track pass a tunnel which runs underneath the Voerense Bos between Teuven, Veurs and Sint Pietersvoeren. It's a fantastic hike already. A break at the trout farm however makes it even better. It's situated near the "Schloss der Commanderie". Dishes are surprisingly high end although basic but delicious trouts are also on the menu. Try the local Chardonnay with it. It's from a vineyard only a few hundred metres away. Beer lovers should try the Commanderie 7. The atmosphere is good. Staff is very friendly and ably. The decoration could use a little attention to go better with the great products and service.

We were on a motorcycle trip over the weekend and stopped in for beers and a bite to eat. The beer list is wonderful and the choice is endless. There are a couple of local beers on tap but not much. We ordered portions of cheese, salami, and Bitterballs to eat. We wanted to have a late lunch but unfortunately they only serve their salads in the summer months. The atmosphere is quite original and outside is the best. Looking forward to going back to sit in the garden this summer

Herberg Moeder de Gans: with an atmosphere of its own! Picturesque, rustic & small-scale countryside. A cosy outing in a nostalgic atmosphere & an environment where folklore & tradition belong by the daily life. Where the quality of simplicity is normal.
The place is a great stop , relax in the nice garden , it's a famous stop for bikes , walking , ... so could be crowdy . friendly staff and we had great food.
