We were passing by and decided to stop for dinner. Upon entry into bar area and then the restaurant we were wondering if this was a wise choice as it sure isn't anything fancy. From there on it was all good. The server was wonderful and took the time out to help us with any questions we had. The meals themselves were lovely home cocked type meals which turned out delicious. This turned out to be a wonderful choice and a very enjoyable meal. After the meal we spent some time with the locals in the bar which was another good choice. Overall we enjoy our meal and night here.

It was well served, the food was fresh and very good prepared, and the price was really low, the cook and his Mother (or mother in law) were very friendly, they even offered us a coffee " on the house" waw, really a place to return!

Niché à l orée de la forêt ardennaise, un havre de paix au cadre moderne. Excellent repas avec un service très attentionné. A conseiller vivement. Pensez à réserver car il y a du monde

I was quite disappointed by this restaurant. It had been recommended by our hosts and has been getting good reviews on tripadvisor. I was also told it is popular with locals. I was there for dinner with my daughter. I had ordered my lamp chops rare and they were way over cooked (more than well done). They were tasty but that's not the point. To be fair, the waiter offered to send them back to the kitchen but I hate to see so much food wasted. On the other hand, they never offered even a cup of coffee to make up for their mistake. My daughter's lasagna just tasted like melted cheese. So we skipped desert. I had been told the place has great atmosphere but I found it quite dull.So I guess we will not go back.

Le Pont des Anges is a very nicely renovated restaurant. The decoration, the glassware, crockery, in short: 'le cadre' is tasteful. They try very hard to stretch themselves to be a first class restaurant and they almost succeed. One waiter addressed us in Flemish after he heard us speak Flemish, a nice surprise in the area. Service is friendly. The food is good to very good. The menus are very well priced. Portions are a bit too big and there are perhaps too many extras in between. Anyway, we arrived at 8 pm, choose the 3-courses menu and found ourselves eating 'le plat principal' only at 10.45 pm. The waiting between the courses was very long. A very nice try, but with room for improvement!
