Levie at the heart of Alta Rocca is a typical Corsican village. If you intend to make a stop there try A Funtanedda (means at the fountain). A lovely terrace, warm welcome and good food is what you need. The dishes are typical and simple. Kids menu are available. Service is perfect. Price are reasonable. The kitchen is open and very clean!Do stop there !

This was perfect for food of a picnic or or to take back to our room. We stayed on Playa Santa Guilia in the off season and there is almost no place to have dinner. Franky's chicken, lamb, pork, grilled vegetables and potatoes roasted in the chicken drippings provided several great lunches and some snacks and dinners. It is on the main highway from Porto-Vecchio to Bonifaccio, on the way to Palombagia, Santa Guilia or Rondonara, just at the end of town in Porto-Vecchio. In the afternoon (2-7), this and a very good boulangerie a little further down the highway may be your ONLY choice for fresh food, since the town really closes up for siesta. Franky is very friendly. Prices are great.

The mixed charcuterie platter as a starter was very good indeed. Main courses including grilled veal steak, local sausages were very good but warm Chevre salad was factory prepared. Lovely views from the balcony, and 211 Euros for lunch with drinks for 10 people was a veritable bargain.

The restaurant is situated in Lecci 10 min by car from upscale Porto-Vecchio, were restaurants tend to be overrated -and I don't mean only at TripAdvisor but overall price/quality ratio. The prosciutto pasta was delicious but chicken pasta lacked seasoning at tasted like pre-cooked meal. The restaurant is renowned for its desserts -we can recommend the chocolate (mud) cake and local dessert with strawberries. The athmosphere was relaxed and most of the clientele were local (or at least spoke French). Staff was really professional throughout the evening.

We had a great dinner here. The food was excellent and they provided high chairs as well. The main courses were well cooked and the deserts tasty as well.

What a fantastic location under the spread of a large mulberry tree or inside in a rustic buildingThe smell of woodfire wafting through the courtyard overlooking a beautiful garden and old stone cottages is the perfect setting after a drive through the mountains of Corsica Now the food - what can I say but fantastic, I had the charcuterie plate and that was from the owners farm and was good, but the best was the slab of venison grilled on the wood flame BBQ, that was perfection on a plate with hand cut chips (frittes) and a slice of zucchini lasagne - my god the best venison I have ever eaten so good, worth a trip to Corsica just to eat, dessert winner was the nougat glacé, they added hazelnuts in and man that was good too, Wife had local terrine which was awesome and the pasta with slow cooked pork from the farm was great too, then local ricotta lemon tart , kids shared oursDrinks - three local beers , Piertra of course and two others all Corsican and fantastic too, one made from Muscat grape was 8% alcohol but was so drinkablenot like the heavy Belgium 8% beers, will track that down for later when not tackling Corsican roadsThe house red was amazing tooAll this for family of four and was only 80 Euro - Tre Bon, a real credit to the owner and his produce and should've on everyone's itinerary in Corsica
