Find out what Barbecue restaurants to try in Windhoek. Many visitors to Namibia start their adventure in Windhoek, the capital and largest city of this South African country. Nama, Herero, German, Afrikaans, and British cultures have influenced the growth and development of Windhoek. Visit the statue of Hosea Kutako, a nationalist hero, in the gardens surrounding the Tintenpalast, the seat of the Namibian legislature, or chow down on ostrich kebab or zebra steak at Joe’s Beerhouse before leaving on a safari into the Namibian wilderness.

Joe's Beerhouse is a place for people of all walks of life to meet. It can seat up to 580 guests at a time and is open 7 days of the week. The menu emphasis lies on game meat but also caters for non-meat lovers. It however is not geared toward fine dining
If you like loud piped rock music while you eat surrounded by a stuffed giraffe head, stuffed leopard and assorted lion heads and other 'trophies' this is the place for you. Not the place for a social conversation as ppl raise their voices to be above the music and hubbub. Appalling environment to eat in.We take note of your review and appreciate your opinion but also know that our setting will never appeal to everyone. Kind regards.

One of the best restaurants for food and service. When you have that burger craving this place is the one to go to. The service is quick and the food is flavourful. But some of the food items need to come with a portion size warning, like the waffles. You donât want to look back and think: " I could have eaten another waffle". #RocoMamas

This can be such a jewel, the perfect place to give joes beer house a slap in the face. They have more beer on tape and great selection well done nice area to chill. Food is really good. Service needs attention and menu is misleading. We ordered the big burger and suddenly when we shared we canât get the beer with, as well as the ribs thatâs even if I share iam paying the price, if you do the challenge on your own then you get Jager miesters for the table and go on wall of fame, which I understand if itâs one person but when you share it there is no prize or wall of fame good, I agree however taking the beer away as on the menu is misleading. I would go back and suggest it to others. Owner is pleasant but please cater for non smoking in the open. Your 1 kg burger is something to write about well done but when I share it, donât take my beer away as iam paying the full price challenge or no challenge. Other than that go for it, oooo and the location on trip advisor is wrong.

Spur serves its famous flame-grilled burgers and steaks, fresh salads and decadent desserts to families from all over the world. As a distinctly family-orientated band, we offer an environment where the whole âtribeâ can come relax and enjoy themselves. T
NO, NO, NO and more NO's. What a filthy, horrible, stinky bad place. The owner has lost the plot. He used to be hands-on when the place opened many moons ago. Today the place is useless. Even the Spur restaurant in The Grove is just as terrible. No, that was the very last I visit any Spur restaurant in WindhoekDear Alfred-Heinz N,Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback. We're extremely sorry to hear about your experience.
