The brisket sandwich here is the best! The brisket is very moist and flavorful. The baked beans were so good with a great smoky taste. The special prime rib sandwich was also very good and the bacon balls were awesome! Service was very attentive! We will definitely go back!

Love, love those oysters. Three sources on this visit. All delightful. Properly chucked and served quickly on ice. Cocktail sauce was a little thin. Too much ketchup not enough chili sauce. Horseradish was freshly shredded. Wine list was well-thought out. Prices were reasonable. Range of choice was terrific. Odd to serve the sparkling Cava in a white wine glass. The pettillance had no starting point unlike in a fluted glass. I had the crabcake (2) platter with red beans/rice, cole slaw and sweet potato fries. All very good. My only complaint was that the cakes were deep-fried. Very dark color. The breading was only on the outside so the crabmeat was ultra moist. Not very hot either. I would have preferred it sautéed. Beans and slaw were perfect. My nephew had the Frogmore stew. The broth was on point. Andouille slices with stewed mussels and chicken. Great toast points to soak up the broth. Five stars!A side of grits and light brown gravy was superb. The third entree was buried in dirty rice. A melange of NOLA favorites. She loved it. For dessert we tried the Coca-Cola cake and salted caramel bread pudding. Five stars. Drink service was slow to irritating. They are losing money on this aspect. A second bartender would pay for itself in an hour. Our server was Mike. Friendly and knowledgeable, he was always asking to be helpful.

Recommended to me by a local, and it was advice well taken. Full review:Its an independent standing restaurant with plenty of free parking and access ramps. There is a bar area, and several dining areas away from the bar. The decor is boathouse meets Ale house.Staff: From the moment I walked into the restaurant the host, waitress, and even cook were friendly, and didn't mind adjusting orders, while paying attention to details. The food was freshly prepared and delicious with flavor. We had the house pull pork, mozzarella sticks, house burger, salad, fries and chicken wings. The picky eaters in my group loved and enjoyed it all. Tip 1) order the homemade cheesecake! Even if its to go, its amazing! Tip 2) if you tour the Millers Brewery first, they will give you a token for a free draft at Saz's. Enjoy! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! We are so happy to hear you an your guests enjoyed your visit and we appreciate the detailed recommendations to future diners! We look forward to seeing you again soon!
