If it hadnât of been for our miserable waiter who upset 2 of our party I would have given a 5 bubble rating and left a better tip at the end. I usually tip very well but the uninterested, unprofessional miserable man we had ruined any chance of that and the only reason I left a small tip was because of the one time a smiling lady served our table while the misery was on walk about somewhere else. However the food that we had was very good indeed, The bread with garlic mayo was lovely. The Lamb and the chicken was tender and full of flavour, The Mixed Salad was Fresh and plentiful and the fried potatoes with garlic were perfect. I only wish that the service had of matched the food.I would definitely give this place another go because of how lovely the food and the setting is and just hope the waiter has been found out by then, but if he was still working I would have to ask to be seated in an area where he will not be serving my table. Or not serving my table as the case may be........They also have a great soft play area for the kids that is supervised at all times by an adult so you can relax and enjoy your evening whilst knowing the kids are safe and having loads of fun..... Really nice touch.

We visited with a large party (56) and the main course had been preordered. It was a lunch time when they are busy anyway, but if they can't cope with the numbers, they shouldn't take the booking. The service was very very slow and disorganised. We were all split up into different rooms. We waited to order drinks at the table for over half an hour. The staff just kept disappearing. The starter of salad was fine and the main of chicken and roast potatoes was lovely followed by a cheesecake. Very authentic Spanish cooking but there are other places, just as good, with better service. Had we not been in such good company it would have been a disaster. It's a place many of us had driven past and wanted to try, but now having tried it, I'll just keep driving in future.
We've visited the resort many times over the last 12 years or so and this particular restaurant has steadily gone downhill over that time. It was once the wonderful Olivio serving good quality Italian food. Over several year now it has been a BBQ style place, fairly basic but the food was well cooked and it worked well. On this occasion the whole experience was terrible. The two staff were apparently working against each other with one working very hard whilst her younger male colleague seemed to be actively trying to offend customers at the same time as not bothering to write down their orders. He managed to query why we would want to order a bottle of wine and then decided we neither wanted that nor the bottle of water we'd asked for (his colleague did sort this out for us). The food itself was poorly cooked and the steaks we ordered did not seem of particularly good quality. On the plus side we had possibly the biggest starters we'd ever had although the quantity over quality didn't really work. Finally we did try to have dessert and/or coffee but over unfriendly neighbourhood waiter had decided enough was enough and given up completely. Eventually we managed to get the bill but even that took some effort. If this restaurant is in any way linked to the Intercontinental Hotel then someone really needs to have a word. In the same way as the 'Italian' restaurant over the road, we're going to avoid this like the plague from now on.
