Real Texas BBQ from a legendary source. Worth a special trip just to eat. Ribs, Beef, Sausage, Chicken, all smoked and comes with optional BBQ sauce (but don't really need it). Easy to find right on the crossroads of two highways.

Took family meal to the house for company Easter weekend. Beans were bland, rest of meal was great. Asked for order to be ready at 6 (prepaid). Had to wait for them to completely assemble order at 6:10. All teens staffing store, just no urgency to stay on top of things. Food quality, other than beans, was up to normal standards. Still a great value.
We found this restaurant while on a joyride around Stephenville. First impression was the cleanliness of the restaurant. It is open and clean, modern but still has the BBQ joint feel.I ordered the half chicken platter and my friend ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Both of our meals were excellent. The sides were excellent as well, usually I find that the side at BBQ places are lacking but I was really pleased. The chicken was juicy, moist and had a really good smokey flavor to it. The pulled pork had the same notes.Definitely worth a stop if you're in the mood for BBQ. Prices were great, we left will full stomachs and didn't take a hit in the wallet. Will definitely be making a return trip!

This is our second visit here. Came into town for a college orientation for my son. Read a lot of bad comments about the service here, but we didnât experience anything bad. Yeah, itâs a little pricey, but itâs a great place to meet, eat, and socialize. We will be back many times in the future when in town to visit our son. Enjoyed the corn hole out back as well as the kidâs play area. Even had nice gas fires burning inside to keep the place warm and inviting. Thanks so much! We hope your son becomes a Tarleton Texan. Great school and great town. Please come again
