Hidden gem in Montesilvano, away from the posh and celebrated places where you lack the real regional flavours. Recently renewed this restaurant is a safe bet: always delivered vs expectations with wide food menu (I personally recommend scrippelle and handmade cut arrosticini), good wine list and an interesting choice of desserts. Last week for a party of two we ordered bruschette, antipasto caldo, ravioli and scrippelle, 30 arrosticini, salad, baked cheese, 2 desserts, 2 bottles of wine and the bill came under 30$ per person, not bad at all. Definitely recommended.

Arrosticini is a popular dish in this region and you order a number of them and share amongst friends! We saw this place and thought it was a bit themed but it got recommended to us by our tour guide for the famous lamb skewers.We thoroughly enjoyed our evening! They make their own wine which is 12 euros a litre and have a large selection of beers from around the world. They do a large sharer plate of t bone steak aged and sliced, we had that then shared some skewers. The restaurant is a bit themed but makes a nice change from the usual cuisine! Would go back again for the skewers for sure, they at under a euro each and very addictive!Owner was really friendly and helpful, didn't push for us to over order either! I think they have live music some nights so could be a good night out!

Sunday lunch menu â¬20, antipasti and 2 courses wine and water inc, unless they forgot to charge me! The fettucini starter was quite nice, I enjoyed it although there was far too much. The main course was Arrosto Mistp, a huge plateful of meat accompanied by a nice simple salad. Absolutely no finesse, just lots of meat. They like mutton here in Abruzzo, I am not so keen. There was a good sausage and a couple of thin lamb chops to be found under the mountain of mutton. A carnivoreâs delight, I could only eat about a third of it. Chef comes to chat with everyone, friendly service and a free grappa. Nice restaurant, and they try hard to please.

Ogni volta torniamo qui per prendere il miglior anghus che abbia mai mangiato in Italia con il contorno di mozzarelline di speck. Servizio veloce e cibo sempre molto buono con una focaccia mista esci satollo e torni sicuramente...consigliatissimo...si paga circa 20 euro a testa

After a great italian holiday we spent our last night in abruzzo, deciding to visit Foconé after the owner of the AirBnB we were staying, higly recommended to us. We had an unforgettable Bufala served we San daniele ham and fried brad.. for mains we went for a huge tagliata. Fpr dessert we decided to get the selection of dessert, that was delicious. Nice place in the Montesilvano's town center, here you can taste typical dishes, I really advise you to give a try to arrosticini! It is sheep meet on a stick, it is very testy. Starters and dessert are good too.If you book with the fork you can have from 20% to 50% off.

The people were really friendly, the food was amazing. I did't get to try the meat because I was too full after the antipasti and the pasta. It was without doubt the best meal I have had in Abruzzo in the last year. The antipasti was different to anywhere else in this area and the pasta was right champion, made with seasonal ingredients. It's the best. Try it!!!

Una felice conferma, non avevo dubbi l'amico che me l'aveva consigliata ci capisce con il buon mangiare. Tutto molto buono e di ottimissima qualità , cordialità da parte del personale, locale pulito e molto ordinato, gli arrosticini sono favolosi, ben cotti e salati al punto giusto. Ottimi anche quelli di fegato, l'unica pecca eccessivamente piccanti, li ha rifiutati anche la moglie del mio amico, abituata a consumare il piccante. Consigliatissimo abbiamo già decis6di tornare massimo tra 10 giorni.
