It is the capital of the Sugamuxi Province, named after the original Sugamuxi. Sogamoso is nicknamed "City of the Sun", based on the original Muisca tradition of pilgrimage and adoring their Sun god Sué at the Sun Temple. The city is located at an altitude of 2,569 metres (8,428 ft) on the Altiplano Cundiboyacense in the Eastern Ranges of the Colombian Andes.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful place. The decoration is nice, very Mexican but the menu is not all Mexican food. I recommend the Punta de Anca. It is cooked to perfection! The yuca is simply delicious. Good and fresh juice too. Sadly the salads are not good. That is something they need to improve. Also the background music was pretty annoying and not appropiate for lunch time.Margarita, thanks for your nice comments. Clients as you are our motivation to work harder to become better day by day. este es el tópico restaurante de los años 90 que despega con una carta convencional como conejo gratinado, al horno y criollo, trucha y carnes todas recetas de esos años y que se durmió en sus laureles y no ha variado la carta ni ofrece nuevas experiencias gastronómicas. las instalaciones están para re modelar, cambiar muebles y decoración , fuera de eso el dÃa que fui no habÃa agua en los baños. ahora la comida, pedimos conejo y estaba tierno pero un poco soso de sabor no es bien condimentado y apelamos a echarle sal para que nos supiera a algo, el acompañamiento solo te ofrecen papas fritas industriales de muy mala calidad, podrÃan ellos mismos hacerlas u ofrecer puré u otro tipo de acompañamiento casero y de mejor opcion saludable. en conclusión sin ser el mejor es un restaurante que lo que pidas te lo puedes comer y maneja un rango de precios algo elevado.
