Maruishi has restaurants in Abashiri, Kitami, and Bihoro. The Abashiri shop is in the heart of Abashir's shopping district at Komabakita and not near the train station or old downtown area. Plenty of parking and four grocery stores nearby. We really liked the three type of pork set lunch and a surprise beef special. It had marbled beef, liver, and intestine, and was a bargain lunch. Test hot yuzu drink was nice on a cold winter noon. We would eat here again. Not crowded. Great air ducts drawing smoke away from grill so we didn't leave smelling of smoked meat. Visited 2/19/2018.

Our first visit to a Yakiniku restaurant and we found a very good one.We were a little daunted by the ordering system, via the tablet but once mastered it proved to be brilliant.All our ordered food was very tasty and we managed to cook it just to our liking.The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout despite our very limited Japanese.We also found the restaurant to be very good value.
