We are huge fans of Mas El Pi. It is well located on the road to Sadernes, the jumping off point for swimming, climbing & hiking gateway in the Alta Garrotxa wilderness area. We have been coming here periodically for a couple of years. The place is run by a Catalan couple who take enormous pride in what they do - serving simple and delicious food (grilled meat, salads, etc). There are even a few vegetarian dishes, relatively rare for Catalunya. Super place to bring kids and a nice terrace out front to enjoy the views. Excellent value for money.

Located between the road and the greenway from Girona to Olot, it's a perfect place for breakfast during your stop while ciclying or have lunch. If possible try to stay outside in the quiet terrace. Friendly staff and typical Catalan food (mainly grilled meat with some more elaborated dishes on the menu). Try their desserts, specially the home made chocolate cake!

Una buena opción para la comida de un sábado.Un lugar céntrico y donde elaboran una cocina diferente y con platos bien elaborados.El menú nos costó 13,50⬠y por la calidad de la comida creo que tiene una buena relación.

The best restaurant in Malgrat!!! Chicken is absolutely delicious, tasty and freshly cooked on the huge rotisserie. The atmosphere is lively and truly a typical Spanish experience. Staff and service is excellent and all the dishes including the Parma ham is a culinary experience. Very reasonably priced too. The staff all speak English and provide a warm welcome. The locals were very inclusive and suggested tasty dishes. A definite culinary experience.

Por casualidad paramos en este sitio, en el q hay una terraza para los que quieran ambiente de montaña fresco, y un salon interior con chimenea. Acertamos!! Menu de fin de semana 16,5 con bebida y dos platos de la tierra suculentos. Carnes a la brasa. Lo recomiendo (sin reserva pero también la admiten)
