We visited this restaurant again this year whilst staying in Tavira. We had eaten there before so knew of the restaurant. Once again superb food and service, always busy and you can watch the world go by. Great fish and lamb dishes very good value house wine which was excellent. Meals are authentic and very substantial. Well worth a visit book if you can.

Eat as much fish as you want for a low price. Very good. The decoration is only nice for football Fans because it this restaurant is owned by a SL Benfica Fanatic.

Both Google and Trip Advisor have the wrong hours listed! It’s only open from 12-2:30! Our host suggested we eat here if we like seafood and we went two times and it was closed. Finally I called, they gave me their hours and we loved it! A very authentic Portugese dinner with lots of grilled fish and squid for only 10 euros! It’s not fancy but lots of locals eat here. He house green wine was good and only 4 euros for half a liter. They bring you a basket of fruit for dessert too
