This restaurant and bar enjoys a privileged location (and it can be a challenge to find!) ensconced in an ancient wine producing center in the hills of Gran Canaria, Spain. In addition to offering good quality meats and stews, salads and home-made desserts, the staff are cheerful and efficient. The hours are limited so it is worth phoning ahead. Also, there is not a lot of room so the Lagar may get crowded and noisy. But that is part of its considerable charm. It is definitely good value for money.

Sin lugar a duda el mejor restaurante para ir a comer carne a la brasa, el mejor sitio par a comer con tranquilidad y sin prisas, el mejor lugar para ser atendido. Es un restaurante que adolece del gran marketing y promoción de otros grandes que se vende como carne a la brasa, pero El MESON MIRAFLOR es "el restaurante de carne", es que no existe otro, el resto serán restaurantes de carne y muchos buenos, pero no llegan a este nivel. Cuando son los propios dueños, los que se desviven por atenderte, por ir al mercado (no esperar a que los proveedores te coloquen lo que quieran) y elegir el mejor genero, cuando ves como para preparar una pieza de carne, durante más de 24 horas, horneándola por la noche para al ponerla a la brasa al dÃa siguiente, entres en un extasis de sabor. Sergio, un exquisito control de la brasa, y sobre todo te asesora en todo momento, cuidando el genero. Laura, una gran cocinera, su comida es la tuya, todo casero, todo de las manos de Laura y Sergio y productos de calidad. Que platos destacar, da igual cualquier tipo de carne preparada como lo hace Sergio te volverá loco y cualquier plato que salga de Laura será una deleite para tu paladar. Driving down from Roque Nublo you must stop and get energy with the best stake in the island with some "papas arrugadas", mojo... the place is not fancy but it doesn't have to because the meal and the service are great!

Muy buen sitio para pasar el dÃa en Familia no solo por lo bien que se come,por la atención magnÃfica en sala sino por la atención de cara a los niños que se los llevan a visitar la granja,dan de comer a los animales ,etc.....Ni que decir de la calidad de la comida y de los mojitos espectaculares que hacen!!Si quieres pasar un domingo en familia,en un entorno muy agradable y comer bien,no dudes en ir a pasar el dÃa!!Repetiremos!

Went here on last years golf trip to Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas and had one of the best dining experiences ever . Interesting variety of starters , huge steaks cooked over wood , local grilled veg , lots of wine and a bottle of brandy left on the table to help ourselves ! Based on last year we revisited this year and if anything the food was even better . If this isn't enough the service was amazing - the lady ( owner with ) husband )serving spoke little English and yet got all our orders spot on with a lovely smile and nothing too much trouble . It was so good we returned two nights later and yet again we were treated royally . The only saving grace is that I don't live nearby or I'd be the size of a house ! Lovely atmosphere , lovely food and lovely people 9 of us ate and drink as much as was sensible and the bill was â¬445 with a â¬50 much deserved tip - unbelievable !!!

10 adults and 8 children and we arrived with no reservation yet no fuss and happy to accommodate us. The staff are always friendly and the food always amazing. Nothing is ever too much trouble. We visited again and this time we had big TBONE steak which was mouth melting and cooked to perfection ...at the end of the day with bottle of wine wasnât that expensive...strongly recommended
