So we haven't been back in a long time because this place gets really loud and it's hard to carry on a conversation. We were hungry for BBQ and decided to give it another try. I actually prefer Sauced BBQ in Livermore to this place (but it's a long drive).This place is still loud :( While I actually enjoyed the food, the service was lacking :( She forgot to bring our appetizer :( I asked to hold the onions straws on my meal - she didn't - and didn't come back to check on us for me to rectify it with her (just picked them off) :(Those kinds of things can really make or break a meal out for me. Probably won't be back.

Just discovered the Hula Wok.We got a couple quick lunches to go, and I like their style!. We ordered to go, but they also have ample seating. They offer lots of Hawaiian and Chinese favorites, plus BBQ beef, chicken, pork, ribs and even seafood. My GF ordered the BBQ beef bowl, served with steamed vegetables on a bed of white rice,which she really enjoyed. I had tbe BBQ beef saimin, (noodles, onions and beef in broth), which was tasty and absolutely perfect for a cold Winter's day! I will be back. Next time I want to try their Loco Moco.

We came here a couple of times. The first time we were impressed with the speed and quality of both the food and service. A few weeks later, we again came in to eat and itâs gone from pretty good to average but expensive. The portions are generous, but so is the price. The food tastes just plain average. Itâs a good place to fill up but NOT the âgo toâ place.
