Our last night at Lignano, the ghost town while in fall & winter. We decided to go based on being number 1 on TripAdvisor. Place was empty but people started to arrive after us. Someone here mentioned about the extra salad bar (cart) fee so I avoided since I would have probably just picked a piece arugula or similar, not worth it. Also someone mentioned big portions, correct. And this place charges 3 euro cover each person while all other restaurants have been charging 1.2 to 1.5 Regardless, a big observation: our bread/chips basket got refilled but to elegant way like this restaurant portrays. Waiter came with the toasted bread chips from the supermarket and just tossed in front of us the remnants of the bag. Yes all the crumbs.....we were in shock and then laughing. I think there is a problem with ventilation or the grill chimney since I ended up being smoked with the grilled. I came to my hotel smelling like if I was in a camping BBQ. Make sure a real Waiter will serve to super-sized white dishes or you run the risk of having spaghetti accidentally thrown at you, like what happened to our table neighbors being served by the owners wife. Serve one at a time! Specially if they are so big and heavy! The food was amazing though great gnocchi, and the steak. Saluti.Rueda Gaucha.

We have visited dozens of restaurants in the region and keep coming back to the "Fattoria" all the time...Looking like just another tourist trap on the busy road towards Bibione, this restaurant is a true gem. Open throughout the year, it is frequented by tourists in the summer and a popular place among locals off season. It offers all the delicious seafood plates, but also excellent meat quality and a vast pizza selection. Try the hot and delicious seafood starter "misto mare fattoria", the famous "spaghetti vongole" (Venetian pasta with clams, better here than anywhere nearby) or the "tagliata" (sliced sirloin with olive oil and arugala). The location is set in a beautiful old farmhouse (fattoria"). Prices are reasonable, especially the pizza with prices between 6 and 10 euros. You won't regret it.

The restaurant ALLE GRIGLE was born in 1965.Since 40 years and 3 generations, the Dalla Mora family has been creating a polished yet simple cuisine based on high quality meat and fish, trying to make every single guest feel at home. For us, all the custome
This restaurant is literally just off the main road in Latislana and obviously caters for Germans as well as Italians. If you are not proficient in Italian or German then take a phrase book with you as there are no menus in English and the waitressing staff spoke very little English. We guessed what to eat and the quality was really good - there was alot of red meat if that is your preference and looked very nice. There were some set menus and pasta dishes as you would expect - I think they offered pizza although this was not on the menu. The house wine was excellent - we only paid 9 euros for it - the other white wines started at 19 euros. Two courses with a 1 litre carafe cost 55 euros. Slightly lacking in atmosphere but if it is nice food at a reasonable price then this place serves that purpose well.

Capannina Bibione Summerseason 2018: We Open from 20th May to 1th September. Restaurant and Pizza following Italian contemporary cooking style with own plates and touristic classic plates.
We decided to try this local restaurant out, but went out very disappointed. We all 4 got barbecue food. But the portions were extremely small and the meat very average. As side orders we booked 2 salads. One of these a tomato salat that were just 1 1/2 tomato sliced with nothing additional - for 4,5 EUR! Will not come back and not recommendDear Skive, I regreatful and surprised that the judge concerning your experience in Capannina is so bed, I came at your table and u informed me about your doubts concerning weight of Irish T-bone and the plating of tomato slices. As i replay to you our supply and we weigh the T-bone One by One and we no accept T-bone under 600gr weight. The T-bone are cow slices, can be thin and large or thick and small, your impression is defferent looking at them but the truth is that the weight is 600gr. Different thickness means differet way to cook it and different taste, we prefer thick T-bone because we prefer rare cooking. Irish meats are tasty, the taste can makes u confusion, may be u don't like it, but it doesn't means that the T-bone are damage. U ate all T-bone. I would like mark you didn't tell me that the meat in your opinion was average, in that case i didn't exitate to take actions becouse our goal is offer an exellent food-experience. The tomatoes slices are a usual portion plating in a different way. Best Regards. Alessandro

Excellent restaurant, service great - whilst this specialises in grilled fish and meat, the pasta dishes were also lovely. Staff were helpful in suggesting dishes, and my husbands bass was cooked perfectly with polenta on the side and a fresh salad. Would definitely go again.Very busy, even out of season - would recommend booking.
