This restaurant has a sort of Medieval them, which doesn't quite work. The staff are in cotton shifts with a St George cross on, and the food might have been great for big meat-eaters but left us with little choice. Not cheap, either!Sorry for my bad English, I am Emilio the owner of Ai Secoli Bui. I think it is difficult to satisfy all tastes of our customers, usually people come to us for the actual quality of the meat, our strength! we do however also appetizers, soups, pasta, pizza, focaccia and something fish. The price of our meat is directly proportional to the high-quality of the proposal. We hope to have you for our guests to try to make you change your mind on our work.

Lovely Food with friendly service in this small hotel/restaurant hidden behind the railway tracks.Menu choice was varied with some thoughtful options for the region and season. Under new management (3-4 years ago) the family-run small business is friendly and helpful, the food well-cooked and attractively presented. We didn't check out the newly refurbished rooms (all en-suite) but will do so next time. Location is the only drawback. Trains are infrequent, so we weren't disturbed, but for an overnight stay? A fair old trot to the beach and other attractions if you are disabled or have small children.

Barbecue e bar cocktail a bordo piscina in estate perfetto per le serate estive , informale
We walked from San Bartolomeo lungomare to this spot. It took us roughly 10-15 minutes but only because I wasn't wearing appropriate walking shoes. Nonetheless, it was an easy walk, only slightly inclined. We were greeted and seated by (whom I understood to be) the Chef/owner who explained to us the aperitivo and degustazione options. He was very jovial and knowledgeable about the menu. Aperitivo was offered at 10â¬/each which included a cocktail with an array of snacks. We were quite hungry so we opted for the menu degustazione at 25â¬/person plus a cocktail each at about 6â¬. We were very pleased with the options and finished everything! Note: portions are made 'to share' - family style. The antipasto included a variety of coldcuts, fritelle, humus, 3 salad options and artisanal breads. There was also a tartare. Followed by three cuts of meat - so tender! Baked potato and a fresh tomato salad. The dessert offered was 'tiramisu' - the table next to us had an allergy and they were allowed to order a 'macedonia' instead at no extra cost. Dessert was followed by coffee. Beautiful atmosphere - seating around a pool overlooking the city. There were many candles and the pretty white *christmas* lights that indeed did set the mood. The staff was professional and courteous. I liked how you could see the Chef team prepare the dishes at an outdoor prep-stand near the tables. My Moscow Mule was good too.I rate the quality of the food at a 9! Pleased with everything. I will suggest it to friends and hopefully be back again.
