In Romagna si mangia bene, ma spesso l'ambiente non è all'altezza delle portate... beh questo è un raro connubio di altissima qualità del cibo, location stupenda con panorama mozzafiato e una cortesia e disponibilità da parte del personale più unico che raro! Porzioni generose a prezzi assolutamente ragionevoli, assolutamente consigliato e noi ci torneremo senza'altro!

The restaurant is well managed an decorated, a splendid patio. We went straight to fiorentina, great! A bottle of morellino. Roby introduced honestly all the beef he has and suggested the best for us! A cup of handmade gelato paired with a glass of moscato grappa. Our dinner was perfect...the bill...quite fair;)Thank you guys of chiosco di bacco, we will be back!

Very good restaurant-pizzeria where you can eat inside, asking for the cozy wing, or outside in the terrace, both with a delightful view over the coast. I've been here at least two or three times, with family and friends, and everyone enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Lovely appetizers ("crostini"), appetizing pasta, sometimes served in pan, tasty "erbette" (chard and leafy vegetables sauteed with oil, garlic and nutmeg, usually used for the filling of "crescioni", the local "piadinas" stuffed with herbs), very good desserts, Sangiovese and liqueurs, but also nice meet ("tagliata" for instance: sliced beef), ham, salami and local specialities, served on soapstone/wooden boards, for those who are fond of them.Longiano is lovely itself, a few kms from the coast, with open air little festivals ("sagre") in summertime and the well-known Petrella theatre.

Very often I will fly to Forli airport puposely in order to visit this restaurant. Family run business with no frills. Decor, plain. Atmosphere, loud. Wine, very average. But the food will not be beaten I assure you. This is the restaurant that I crave for more than any other when back in the United Kingdom. Nowhere have I experienced mutton (castrato) as good as Neri's, in fact, along with the tagliatelle al ragu, it is their signature dish. If you are not a mutton lover try the normal mixed gril which will not be dissapointing or maybe one of the two baked meat dishes, normally rabbit (coniglio) or guinea fowl (faraona). The consistency is admirable as is the quantity and value. This is probably the reason that Neri's is always full and weekend booking is essential. Do not just turn up because you will not get a table and it is not the easiest place to find. I would advise planning the trip leaving yourself good time to enjoy an aperitivo in one of the many squares in the nearby village of Longiano. Do not be put off by the drive, it is worth it.

food is quite good even if the quantity is ridiculous. we have ordered 1 antipasto and they have brought us 1 slice of salame, 1 slice of ham and a small piece of cheese... rude staff. i ll never go there anymore

Nestled in the old laneways of the charming hilltop town of Longiano, is this understated restaurant which opened in 1988. After briefly looking at the menu at the entrance we decided to stay and have lunch. The first surprise was being led to the very attractive outdoor pergola adorned with flowers and herbs like lavender. Once we were told the dishes of the day we did not look at the menu again, and decided straightaway to opt for the potato and local greens gnocchi with cherry tomato and truffle, followed by roast pork fillet of mora romagnola (local variety) sliced when cold and topped with radicchio and small mushrooms served with roast tomato on the side. Sauteed chickory and green beets was our side dish. The flavours and presentation of all these dishes was sublime and the wine we chose was a definite challenge to the best Tuscan Sangiovese but at a more affordable price. Bread is made on site and it was very good, as well as the cannolata Siciliana dessert - melt in the mouth! It has been the best meal of the year so far, and we have already planned to go back in a few weeks time.The service is unfussy; after a while the staff asked if we were satisfied and we had some chats with them. Top place.
