Reviews on Barbecue food in Romford, England, United Kingdom. Romford is a large town in east London, and the administrative centre of the London Borough of Havering. It is located 14.1 miles (22.7 km) northeast of Charing Cross and is one of the major metropolitan centres identified in the London Plan. It was historically a market town in the county of Essex and formed the administrative centre of the liberty of Havering, until it was dissolved in 1892. Good road links and the opening of the railway station in 1839 were key to the development of the town and the economic history of Romford is underpinned by a shift from agriculture to light industry and then to retail and commerce. As part of the suburban growth of London in the 20th century, Romford significantly expanded and increased in population, becoming a municipal borough in 1937 and has formed part of Greater London since 1965. It now forms one of the largest commercial, retail, entertainment and leisure districts outside central London and has a developed night-time economy.

Portuguese grill specializing in charcoal grilled meats, seafood, spatcock chicken, wines and cocktails...
Been there for lunch for a couple of friends. The food wasn't all that. The stuff was friendly but the owner was a horrible woman, talking bad with her staff and customers. I had a cocktail just asked for a bit more of sugar the woman ( owner) was having a grief at the waiter for it. The sauces is a copy os nandos but the worst version. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all and have been spreading the word about how bad it is

I popped in for a quick bite and had the buffet where they come to your table with various meats for £18.99 all in. I also had a Diet Coke. Staff were friendly and when I went to the buffet there was a decent selection of vegetables, potatoes and various other dishes. The waiters came regularly with beef, chicken, gammon, pork etc. It tasted ok, but I thought it was a bit bland. More concerning was a piece of chicken wrapped in bacon that when I cut it was pink on the inside - not good for poultry. I told a member of staff and they said they would âtell the chefâOverall, it wasnât bad - just pretty average. I was disappointed.

Family meal, 6 adults, 1 child and a baby. No starters ordered, had lovely Turkish bread instead and various shish kebabs and kofte kebabs. Excellent side salads too. Very generous portions and good Efes beer. Loved the fact that you can see dishes prepared and cooked behind glass screens. From the outside you would never grasp how nicely this restaurant is furnished, nor how long and large it is. Friendly efficient service, will definately return regularly. Excellent!

So I went yesterday and I cut through my chicken cube and found a hair, the restaurant apologised but nothing else was done. Quiet shocking and totally would not record anyone else to go here as thereâs no hygiene. God knows how many hairs there was, no flavour in the lamachun! After finding the hair we was still made to pay, you would of thought the two soft drinks would of been complimentary but no. Stay away the best advice I could give.Dear Barbieessex,Thank you for your review in regards to your recent dining experience at Lara Grill. We would like to express our sincere disappointment to hear of your unsatisfactory experience with us.
