Sonny's BBQ of Richmond. Southern BBQ at its finest. Slow-smoking favorites like pulled pork, ribs, brisket since 1968.
Chicken especially was dry..Friendly staff , nice surroundings easy to get to location... Very good prices to boot.. Would recommend , But maybe skip the chicken

Their food truck visited West Sixth Farm in Frankfort for the first time this weekend. I got a pork sandwich and chuck wagon beans to go. I had enough pork for a sandwich and a quesadilla tonight. The pork was very good and I love the toppings - great bun too. I am so glad I added the beans at the last moment - they are phenomenal! Please come back to the Farm!

Went to "Smitty's" for the first time yesterday afternoon. Had a Groupon. Ordered Brisket sandwich. They were out. Got the pulled pork sandwich with beans, mac and cheese and slaw as the sides.Smitty's makes there own sauce and it was out on the tables. Excellent sauce! Pulled pork sandwich was succulent to the degree that it didn't need any sauce to be amazing. Sides were fantastic. Slaw took some getting used to but by the end I was loving it. Baked beans and macaroni and cheese were both amazingly good.No barbecue in my home town (Morehead) can compare. If I lived closer I'd probably eat here at least weekly.
