Stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. The place was packed but we could be seated immediately. The table was a two-top on the packed and loud balcony. We opted to sit at the bar. We each ordered the local brew (Smoke Jumper Stout) which was very good. We decided we were going to each order a Rubin and share the gorgonzola soup. We asked for everything to come out at once. What appeared was two plates with 1/2 Rubin on each piled with fries and the soup. We went with it. The soup was creamy and rich and I recommend dipping your fries in it. The corned beef was delicious but the sandwich needed more Swiss cheese and sauerkraut. I would go back but with lower expectations.

I was impressed by how clean and well thought out the resturant was. Great use old west decorations. We had the brisket and beans. Both were very good and the selection of sauces at the table were good, even though the brisket really didn't need any.

Just love this place. If someone tells you it isnât authentic Louisiana cuisine, they are crazy. Even the location tucked in a side street (7th Street) and atmosphere brings Bourbon Street to mind. A lone Blues singer for live entertainment. The food is excellent, delivered quickly, hot with just enough heat without ruining the flavor. Fried green tomatoes for an appetizer, my wife had red beans and rice, I had pastalya wit chicken added. The cornbread muffins are awesome. Recommend Jambonz Deux to everyone.
