Very nice taverna with a varied if typical menu. We went mid week and there were lots of locals eating which is always a good sign. We had fried cheese and stuffed peppers followed by pork souvlaki and pork chop and a litre of local rose wine. All of it was very good with the pork having a great flavour. Service was very friendly and the bill when it came was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Tsobos Garden Grill House is simply the best Grill House in Katelios. Come and join us in a very friendly environment where you can enjoy the best meals in Katelios!
We've stayed on Katelios on numerous occasions but up until now we have never visited Tsobos. After visiting on our latest visit, I am really wondering why! The service was excellent, the food was delivered quickly and most importantly extremely tasty. We had a gyros plate and a sausage plate, both very generous and for 8⬠incredibly good value for money. Yes, we know it's not the healthiest option but it just has to be done! We enjoyed our first visit so much we visited twice during our two week stay. Well worth a visit!

After a few mediocre meals in more expensive tavernas we tried Manolis and were blown away.Tasty salads, politiki and dakos followed by whole grilled/barbequed bass and bream cooked perfectly and with either rice, chips or baked potato sides, clearly not fine dining but proper greek and proper tasty.Service from the family team was charming, efficient and welcoming.Good table layout with enough room for some privacy and the garden part was well lit.We returned and were equally impressed with the whole experience, keftedes and swordfish that time with Malamatima retsina.A taverna with a warm heart.â¤Thank you so much for your review. taverna manolis

We were recommended Makis by a tour rep and have to say we were sceptical just because of that reason, however Makis became a favourite of our family. A lovely warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The food is lovely especially the steak. My son devoured his Kefalonian meat pie, although couldnât finish it all as the portion sizes are generous. Lovely finish to the meal was the fresh fruit with honey & cinnamon on the house. We went back twice as we enjoyed it so much, so weâll worth the little walk off Pedestrian Street to reach it. We couldnât work out what they cook their potatoes in but theyâre lovely!

Positive: The amazing view, fried potatoes, water and view. Negative: We asked about the vine leaves âThe Vine leaves are cannedâ this is a warning sign at a Greek restaurant. The white wine they served tasted a bit like a week old pre opened bottle. The briam I was served was extremely sad, soggy, waterlogged, depressed, laughable, and really was the joke of our vacation. Conclusion: I would eat the terrible briam again for the view and laughs. The view!

An excellent value lunch comprising Steki salad as a starter (had a choice of any salad on the menu but chose this one - very tasty), sea bass and sea bream - a lunchtime special offer of 20â¬. It came with chips and a side salad. Right next to the sea with a good view of the area. Well worth a visit and excellent service.
