Riposo settimanale: LUNEDi
This restaurant had been recommended to us, but it was far better than we could have imagined. The tortiglioni allo scoglio were delicious, the fish taste had permeated right through the pasta. We wanted a "light" lunch so we only had a first course and dessert. When we said dessert, the waitress brought us some home-made friandises, and then came back a second and a third time with different desserts. And yet the lunch was so incredibly inexpensive. We sat in the beautiful garden, right next to the ancient church. I can't imagine a more relaxing and pleasant lunch.Dear Sir,Thank you very much for reviewing our restaurant. We are very glad to read your positive opinion. When our guests are satisfied, we are satisfied too!I wish to see you very soon.Regards from Italy.

We had a family dinner last night at this "minimal restaurant". It's interesting to see the Italians have begun to adopt one American restaurant model...all you can eat of good but not great food! Having said that we really enjoyed all of the offers and the good service. Was also impressed with the price. Will definately look forward to my next visit.

Agriturismo Gestito Da Una Famiglia, Produzione Di Salumi, Farina, Olio. Aperto Il Sabato A Pranzo E Cena La Domenica A Pranzo.
We had Sunday lunch here today: mixed antipasti with some excellent little dishes of chick peas and borlotti beans, salami, prosciutto and cheese; home-made ravioli and tagliolini with pecorino and marjoram (yum!) - followed by tender roast pork and roast potatoes. The full 3 courses including dessert, wine and coffee would have been 30 euros a head. There were two of us and we skipped dessert and shared the antipasti and pork and paid 44 euro. The setting is delightful - right down a single track country lane surrounded by olive groves and meadows full of wild flowers. The agriturismo is family run and it was very busy today with 2 huge family gatherings in progress. Fun to watch, but a bit noisy. Well worth a visit if you're in the area visiting the abbey or exploring the hills.

Looked promising on arrival. Place is up for sale, notices everywhere !!! However, whole restaurant smells of cigarette smoke (including the waiter). Food unimaginative and rather dull. Needs a good clean, in fact, needs some TLC. Oh, dear... Hope someone will buy it and improve it, as it has beautiful views and has so much potential.

Welcoming and service wasn't so friendly than other places during these weeks. Service was quick but when waitress took our order, it was unclear for us what will come... She couldn't answer for all our questions in English and we didn't know Italian so well. Anyway, food was just like we ordered. Pizzas were ok, not so crispy as somewhere else. It was good that they had sharpened knives. And yes, service was 1,50 â¬/person. Nowhere else outside big cities there hasn't been that fee. Food was a little bit more expensive.

I have been a fan of EcoFattorie Sabine for years. It is one of the best places to buy excellent Sabine cheeses (if the ricotta al forno is available, buy a slice) organic meats, fresh and cured sausages, various types of artisanal breads, wines, compotes, honeys and jams, not to mention some excellent organic Sabine olive oil. Opening a restaurant was a stroke of genius. I visited the new restaurant about a month after it opened. From the epic cheese and charcuterie taglieri (woodwn platters) to the pasta primi and succulent meat courses that followed EcoFattorie Sabine did our beloved rustic Sabine region proud. The menu is a brilliant advertisement for each and every of EcoFattorie Sabine's products. Be careful! If you ever eat there you will be hooked... not only by the restaurant, but by the store's products. My favourites are their ricotta, the ricotta al forno (wood fire oven-backed ricotta) their wide range of local Sabine pecorino cheese, and their salumi. Ecofattorie Sabine is rustic and homey gastronomic delight. I can't wait to go back.Thank you! We look forward to seeing you again!

Usually hate fixed price menus but this IS an exception. From the savoury antipasti to the 3 pasta dishes to the meats (or fish occasionally)to a wide desert selection, everything is really enjoyable and service is friendly. With the 22 euro menu you also get the good house wine & caffe. Very pleasant Serendipity atmosphere and terrace with great view,

This is a beautiful, airy restaurant surrounded by rolling hills and big skies, but it's the artful food and wine that takes centerstage. Everything is delicious and flavorful, delicately plated. Since all produce is all natural and sourced from the onsite farm, from the wagu beef to the berries used to cream the butter for pink frosting, the flavors are incomparable.I had perfectly poached eggs with shaved white truffles on butter fried brioche garnished with micro greens for one meal. Silky, richly marbled wagu beef and crisp, wafer-thin prosciutto came before the plump, dense tortellini stuffed with fresh goat cheese. Each bite, I washed down with a sip of the reasonably priced but excellent house white. Dessert was apple done three ways - each a work of art with tangy, sweet apple bites turned into tart, a moist cake, or deconstructed inverse pie. I only spent a day there, but time really did stand still, and I left replensihed, relaxed, and calm.
