This is easily one of my favorite places in the city!!! It is delicious and the staff are excellent. Welcoming and friendly and very fun to spend time with-- the menu is limited but you can custom order your steaks. The quality is outstanding and the prices are excellent. It's a casual place like a deli counter and that is the charm. You go for the people and the food. It's worth a trip and for me always more than once when I am Palermo. !! I love Barresi.

Decided on dining in this restaurant after checking out the Ballarò market.Service was very good and we were deciding on various dishes with the waitress when the owner came in from his fish stall adjacent to the restaurant and cajoled those easily influenced members of my group into having the huge terrine of shellfish.It was a numerous experience but that dish was just average. None of the shellfish had a distinct Sicilian flavour and itâs just mainly mussels, clams and crayfish with not a lot of meat after all the effort of extracting it.The pasta dishes we had were excellent though and Iâd advise you to have seafood pasta dishes instead and donât be persuaded otherwise.We had a great couple of hours here eating and drinking, I just wish we didnât have 5 portions of the shellfish!

Food was exactly what I was wanting at that moment in time, generous portion, tasty and excellently Italian. Waiting staff were friendly and the managing staff also friendly and engaging; ensuring our visit was enjoyable. Great setting, in a conservatory space, atmosphere was classy and not too quiet whilst the noise didn't care too much from other tables.Gentile cliente grazie grazie ed ancora grazie per le sue belle parole in merito a tutto il contesto che fa' grande il nostro locale. Torni sempre quando vuole sara' sempre un onore ospitarla.

Seated at 8pm midweek, we ordered and only then realised the several tables at the front all had retired English couples. The customers who came in later were also English and mostly pensioners - and all of the type legendary on the Spanish Costas.There was a comprehensive menu of alcoholic drinks and an extensive choice of craft beers. The food part of the menu was a bit unusual but we had read here that the burgers were good so settled on that.MacDonald style packets of ketchup, mustard and barbecue sauce were put in the table, together with sliced rolls and a bottle of rather standard-tasting extra virgin olive oil. Therefore it was with some relief that we actually enjoyed our excellent burgers and fries and one of the nicest and freshest salads weâve been served this year: fennel, orange, red onion and green olives. I plan to recreate the salad soon after our return home, with our favourite Aldi wagyu burgers.Food came quickly and service was reasonable. The burgers were 4/5 - a fois gras or wagyu burger might earn 5/5, while these were good but normal. The 5/5 is for the lovely salad.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service, Excellent meat. Bife de Ancho was sublime- you can choose the weght of the portion. I did not care very much for the appetizers, though guacamole was quite good, Very good fries and desserts. Not cheap, but worth the money if you - like me - are a meat lover.

Came for an early dinner, owner was great and able to talk us through the whole menu including highlighting where they were using locally sourced ingredients, overall the service was great, probably the best we've had in sicily.The meals arrived withing about twenty minutes from ordering and we're both excellent. The steak was perfectly cooked and the burger was great. Although individual components of the burger were good, the combination of bacon (slightly smoked), cheese and home-made patty and bun was even better.Overall only slightly more expensive than other places in Palermo but for much better quality food and service.

Owners of large and small eating and drinking establishments around the world hang Tripadvisor stickers on the doors of their restaurants and bars, no matter what place they occupy. The owner of the leader of the Palermoâs July 2019 ranking doesn't worry about it at all. He just sells steaks, hamburgers and just meat on Mondello beach. You can roast a steak here and eat it on the beach like we did. Or you can eat it here. The quality of pork steak is excellent! The prices are reasonable (pork steak and hamburger cost less 7 EU). Burger was not surprised. Unfortunately, you canât buy a glass of home-made wine. Just a bottle. How much meat should I eat for one bottle of Sicilian wine? Everything else is fine.
